I have been having major problems getting Countrywide to accept my mortgage payments.

This all began in 2003 which I actually got attorneys involved to help me get Countrywide to take my money - I had a Judge's order requiring them to take my payments and they ignored 3 different times.

Thank in 2005 the same thing happened - they took of my web pay and I was told it was a mistake then after a couple of months refused to take payments over the phone - when I called I was told again it was a mistake then they told me only certified funds or Western Union - I did these and even sent a wire which they finally accepted and then wired the money back into my account without any explanation whatsoever.

Please understand that at these times I was NEVER 30 days late nor in default. I noticed the returned funds about three weeks after my payment and then even priority mailed a new payment so it would not go over 30 days late - they again returned this payment and forced me into a 30 day late status - I worked over a year with attorneys and representatives of Countrywide before they would take payments again - I had to pay over $5,000 to get my loan reinstated and that was in February 2009. With this understanding I was assured by Roberta Rous at Countrywide that I would indeed be able to make electronic and web payments by April 1st. I have been trying for the past week and have not been able to do so. When I call Ms. Rous I get a recording that she is unavailable and there is no way to leave a message.

It is now April 1st and again they are refusing my payments. I have read over the internet others having similar problems with Countrywide - They are refusing payment forcing interest to occur -

If this isn't a clear case for a class action I do not know what is.

Why are you waiting to make a payment electronically? Since you seem to have problems with electronic/web payments just send them a check. However I would send them a cashiers check and then send it certified through the US mail. This way they will have to sign for it and if it would happen to get loss it can be tracked.
