I ordered replacement cushions for my TEU furniture from this company on 4/9/2007. I was told they were behind 8-12 weeks in production. I called around June 25th and was told they would ship at the end of July. I called at the end of July and was told they would ship at the end of August.

At this point is where the frustration starts. I inquired as to why they were having such a hard time fulfilling their promised dates and got no straight answer. I was also offered a refund or an addition 10% off my order. I decided to give them another chance and opted for the 10% discount.

I called after two weeks and asked about my 10% discount. I was told their system had "problems" and she (Julie) would put it through again. I called at the end of August and was told the cushions would ship the second week of September. I asked about my 10% discount again and Julie said she would put it through...I never received the discount.

I called again in the middle of September and was told it would be 2 more weeks. At this point I had been more than patient so I requested my money back. I was told that was fine and I should see my refund within 5-7 days. After 10-12 days I called again and was told I should see my refund soon.

To date I have not received my refund. Before when I called their number I spoke to a person who simply took my name and number and said someone would call (which most of the time I never got a return call). When I asked to speak to someone other than customer service I was told "the call center is in one place and the office is in another and she couldn't send calls over there". Yeah, right. The last time I called I only got an answering machine. I told the company that this would be my last call and the next contact would be from my lawyer. I got an automated call back from the company telling me my order (which was supposedly canceled) would ship in 2 weeks.

At this point I have handed the matter over to a lawyer and I'll see if I get anything back. My opinion (and this is just an opinion and not based on fact) is this company is about to go under and I'm never going to see my $340 again.

This company is horrible! To say that they are "crooks" would be too kind. Please, please, please....if you are reading this and are considering doing business with this company my suggestion is "don't"!

To those who are waiting for a refund from homespun fashions/cratefurniture.com... I got a full refund of my order amount along with a letter of apology from the owner of the company. It just took having a lawyer send them a letter. Good luck to those out there still dealing with this company.
