Hello, my name is Kimberly. I am writing this email because I have been paying Belen Moving and Storage my funds through a representative named Margot Kapor's personal account, why was I given a personal account I don't know.

I have paid the company in full and have not been given reciepts and a name and address of where to locate my furniture, your assistance in this matter is and greatly will be appreciated. Here is the complaint I wrote to the so-called managers of the company Margot (Belen Moving and Storage) and Dave (Cross Country Moving), I just filed a complaint with several other law enforcement companies on movingscams.com including, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration as well as DOT. I will be filing with the BBB after this email, please help.

I can be reached at (((ROR REDACTED PHONE NUMBER FOR SECURITY PURPOSES))). I have not been given the name of the Owner of the company upon multiple requests to speak with him and know his name, every 888 or 800 number I call Dave(cross country moving) answers, and the phone numbers on Belens website and invoices are not accurate or in service the only number I am given is a 202-997-3620 which is a personal cell phone and Margot does not answer it and does not return phone calls until days and weeks later.

I have paid all fees owed and due to this company and have not been promptly supplied with receipts or where I can pick up my furniture. Please advise. I believe these companies are scams and all the numbers on their websites are false. I will be submitting this complaint to the States Attorneys office.

I have been lied to time and time again with this company. Margot is very unprofessional and rude, and Dave, acts like he is helping but sends me false info on how to contact someone in the Belen moving and storage, they work hand in hand. They are black listed in on the internet and spoken negatively about on (((ROR REDACTED LINK FOR SECURITY PURPOSES)))

I cc'd them both on the email to show that I mean business and that I have contacted your Establishment, I will also forward an email sent to my Dave claiming that he spoke to Belen about their "Management" style when I requested accurate info about Belen, the link he sent me did not work in the email it was null and void, when I emailed him to ask him to send me an updated link, he never responded.

11/08 -12/08 Update on moving, From Jan or 08 until Jun of 08 I had been still depositing monthly payments in Margot Kapoors Wachovia Bank account, never recieved reciepts nothing, In July I contacted Dave and told him I never heard from Margot. I did not recieve a phone call from Margot until October of 08, claiming she tried to contact me. She stated that she had not recieved payments from me in 2 years, and that I owed the company 3000.00, which is completely untrue, I had to dig up reciepts and fax to her that she recieved funds in her bank account. She then re-adjusted and still charged me 1900.00 and stated I had not finished paying for my move. I then said ok, I now live in California, My sister lives in your area. I will have my sister meet you on Sunday with cash, also we need to see what you have left of our furniture if in fact it is still there. She declined to meet my sister and take cash, She demanded that I put money in her bank account before meeting my sister to take cash and allow my family to see if our furniture is still there and if it is, what is left of it. These people are crooks and thieves, and I am going to sue them.

Hi Update, I spoke to a guy named Dave in July because I called Margot and Oscars numbers were disconnected. He said he would let them know (Margot) and get back to me, they never did, they still have my furniture and have not returned phone calls.

Hi LC its been a year since I have been back I was wondering did you get your furniture back from Margot at Belen. I had spoken to her several times since last year and she was very cooperative. I have not spoken to her this year but I have continued to pay fees for my furniture in storage. I am needing to get in touch with her for my furniture but have not been able to get through on the phone number I have listed. Let me know how things are going. I am attempting to have my stuff delivered to my new address out west. I tried emailing but all emails have bounced back to me. Let me know.

Tracked down Belen's original listed address, I believe this is the house of Margot Kopera (listed owner) and Oscar Hernandez: 1433 PANGBOURNE WAY HANOVER, MD 21076 They're about to have their incorporation revoked for not paying taxes. They changed their name and address at some point to the currently listed one of: BELEN MOVING SERVICES INC. #103 8306 PATUXENT RANGE ROAD JESSUP, MD 20794

LC, Belen is indeed shut down, they haven't been licensed since December. You need to get a lawyer involved to get the location of your goods.

I am writing to find out what the status is of this complaint by Kimberly. Belen Storage have my things in storage and have collected payment since February. I have been deployed and recently tried contacting them at all numbers on website and numbers I have but no answer at any numbers. I also noticed the website is down. I really need help with this situation because I would like to know the status of my possessions that are in storage. Please Help.

I've found two more addresses for them. The business adress is 8306 Patuxent Range Road Suite 103, Jessup, MD 20794 the other is their mailing address- 1433 Pangbourne Way, Hanover, MD 21076 Also their lincense was Involutary Revocation on 12/11/06 and have no insurance.

The only address i found for them was the following. 2399 Mad River Lane Columbia, MD 21044 The phone number listed for them is no longer working, but they do have a fax number that a woman answered when i called to see if it worked.I asked if they were this company and she said "yes". Also, another principal listed for the company is Roni Maxwell.I would probley bet this company works out of their house. I'll post anymore info if i can get more for you.
