First, I would like for Mr. Randell to read my rebuttal to his ex-wife's complaint. And while he is at it, look at the one sentance response that she replied with. And even today I received another 'certified mail' notification from Ms. Colglaizer. I ask the post office to return it to her and mark it "refused by addressee" because I am not going to waste my time, and get upset regarding her stupidity. And now I would like address the pack of lies that Mr. Abernathy has written as well. Had I known the truth about what you went to prison for he would never have gotten in the front door of my business, let alone an interveiw and ultimately an offer for employment. Again, see the statement under the complaint by Ms. Colglazier about the lie that Mr. Abernathy told me regarding the young lady he met on the internet that claimed she was 18 but wasn't and yelled foul play after they had sex. I honestly believed his story, as I know this type of sexual misconduct happens frequently with teens that age. And let's talk about the wages that I was paying him. I believe if I remember correctly when I agreed to hire him, an offer of wage was made by myself greater than what you indicated you would work for. He was willing to work for minimum wage which I believe at that time was around $5.50 or possibly even $5.85 per hour. Mr. Abernathy was hired at a rate of $6.50 per hour. Additionally, in the two years he worked for me, his pay was increased a total of $1.00 per hour yet this individual has the guts to complain about what I was charging my customers for the digitizing services. Where Mr. Randell came up with the figure of $75.00 per design that I was paying my vendor for the digitizing services before I hired Mr. Randell is another lie. I never paid more than $50.00 for any design to be digized by an outside vendor. And, while I think about it, what business is it of Mr. Randell, if I charged my customer $200.00 per design. Yes, I will admit that Mr. Randell did have possibly 3 or 4 paychecks that were returned by my bank. I'm not sure the reason for each occurrance but on two occassions I received checks from my customers that were returned for insufficent funds therefore causing my account to be short of funds. I would like to remind Mr. Randell that on each occassion, his check was made good with either a cashier check or another check and Mr. Randell was even allowed to take the check to his bank on company time to resolve the issue. At no time would Mr. Randell have ever paid $800.00 for fees to the bank because of his paycheck not clearing the account. The real issue here in my opinion iw that Mr. Randell wanted all the conveniences but didn't have enough smarts to figure out that there wan't enough money to go around. He wasn't out of prision and into his apartment more than a couple of weeks before he had internet, cable television, a computer and all the modern conveniences that the normal household had. It doesn't take a genious to figure out that working for $6.50 per hour you can't possibly pay rent, utilities and have all the modern conveniences. He wasn't in my employment more that a couple of months before he started getting phone calls from bill collectors. I wonder why. And then the real joke was the "girlfriend". Oh yes, he met here in a chat room on the internet as well. I can still remember how excited he was, and then it wasn't long before she was coming to visit for the weekend. If I remember correctly the weekend never ended and she was now living with him. Oh, and right she didn't have a job, and in my opinion never had any intention of getting a job. How could she, she was a diabetic. By the way Michelle, millions of people with diabeties work every day. That's because the take pride in themselves and their ability to make a living for themselves, not take advantage of someone trying to put his life back together and whatever handouts they can get from the government such as food stamps. And then Mr. Randell's complaint that he couldn't continue working for me because I was so difficult to work for. For his information I know of d**n few employers that would go without a paycheck just to keep their employees working. There were many weeks that I should have sent him home but I felt sorry for him and made sure he got a full 40 hour work week, if he was available to work 40 hours. Mr. Randell got started doing digitizing and had his web-site setup on the internet, for people to use his services for digitizing. Again a cost that he really could not afford, but I will give him credit for trying to make additional money to live on. And yes, Mr. Randell made it a point to tell me that he had the bank account where payments were deposited through "paypal" put in girlfriends "Michelle"'s name. I wonder why? To hide it from the State of Illinois Division of Child Support and having to pay additional child support to his poor deprived children that went without "Chirstmas" because of his "theieving employer". I wonder if Mr. Abernathy revealed that to the Illinois Division of Employment Security when he applied for unemployment? Again, because of his deadbeat employer so he claimed with the IDES. Interesting however that he told three customers, a delivery driver and a fellow employer that he was leaving the employment of the company because he could make a better living doing is digitizing business. In conclusion, I am still amazed that the parole board and the parole officers have their head stuck in the sand regarding Mr. Randell. Why wouldn't they immediately investigate what happened when an employee with Mr. Randell's background suddenly quite his job. I even called the parole board and requested that Mr. Randell's parole officer call me after Mr. Abernathy suddenly walked out. Not once did I here anything from his parole officer or the parole board. In addition, I wonder how did Mr. Randell get the license renewal on Michelle's vehicle (which Mr. Randell drove daily) without proof of insurance? That's right, they had no insurance because they couldn't afford it. That's why Mr. Randell took the long way home so he could avoid the possibility of being stopped by the police officer.
