I have had insuarance with Dairyland for 4 years, no accidents no claims... today I cancelled Dairyland Insurance.. I needed my payment date to be the 1st of every month.. they told me they could not change the date if they did I would have to cancel.. and open another policy loosing all my credits and benefits..see I get a monthly check and so I cant pay till 1st.. they just dont care... finally after years of paying a day late.. they started charging me a $10 late fee!!!!!!!!!! On INSURANCE? A LATE fee? in as like in loan?credit card late fee? unbelievable...well.. I am done with them.. found someone else and I can pay them on the 1st and guess what? they are cheeper too.,..stay away from dairyland insuarance.. stay away from Insuarnce depot in brason missouri... they are who I went through.. and they are hateful horrible .. talking to them about insuarnce is like talking to a really bad credit card company.. in other words its not service to you for car insurance... its about how you owe them...you owe them a late fee for letting them be your insuance people

In June of 2004, I purchased a Motorcycle and told I needed to get this insurance, that it was the best for motorcyclist. I paid the premium. One day I called to see if I was covered for a certain item. At that time, I was told my insurance was cancelled and they had sent me a notice. I never received any notice. Since I had never had any moving violation tickets, I asked why the cancellation. They cancelled me because of a parking ticket three years earlier. That is not a moving violation. I had quickly found another insurance company. Do not buy their insurance.

I am a Dairyland agent in Wisconsin, technically not an employee. This situation is not usual for their company. But, I would warn people from taking insurance through an auto dealership, ideally you would have a better relationship with an agent you would get to know and who would know you. Dairyland does send out inquiries, with newly issued policies, if they need additional information. Some inexperienced agents, or those who just don't care, might overlook obtaining such follow up information. WE DON'T.....we contact our clients with a copy of the Dairyland correspondence, asking them to contact us with the response. It all comes down to service, in this case you did not receive proper service. Hopefully you have had better experiences with your insurance since.
