 Frustrated, as someone who works in customer service myself, it's unfortunate to walk away from a situation with such a knot in your gut. Here's my story

 Back in 2013 some friends and I played world of warcraft, our friends server went down and we needed a new one to talk to eachother in raids. I purchased a server with darkstar and we used the service for months, but ended up burning out on world of warcraft. I canceled the Darkstar server through your website. 

Three years later, now its 2016 and i'm in my paypal account tryin to link up to my new bank account. I had deposited $150 into paypal and I noticed that it was siting at like $76...." what the heck where did the rest of the money go?" So i opened up the history and found something from darkstar? "what the heck is darkstar?" so i search my history and find 4 charges.... then it hits me... this is the ventrillo server? "why am I still being billed for this I canceled it years ago"

So I reach out to support, talk to friendly folks, but no one who has been able to really help.  offered a refund for 2016. but credits for 2015 and 2014 dont do me any good, I dont use vetrillo anymore.  I'm honestly very frustrated it feels as if Darkstar is "okay" with me paying for something I havent used, nor had access to for years. Pretty bad feeling when I think that I choose darkstar for my business and not another company.

over the next few days I reach out time and again, star feeling like I'm just being bounced around. Given the same response. How it's my fault, not theirs. Then I find their TOS 

SECTION 7 of darkstar LLC TOS

All requests for cancellation must be made by submitting a ticket to my.darkstarllc.com at least 24 hours prior to your service renewing. Should service lapse, you can still cancel and receive a refund up to 72 hours after the renewal. You will be required to verify your identity by providing the last 4 digits of the credit card used on the account or last PayPal Transaction ID. Accounts will not be canceled until verification is completed. This is done for security purposes. Upon cancellation, no further charges for service beyond your cancellation date will be processed. However, anything due up until the date of cancellation is still required to be paid.

So basically I'm being lied to. This company steals from people, ive found dozens of similar reviews. Avoid them ... Not wor the headache for sub par service
