On June 16, 2009, I ordered the CST self-study materials and the CST exam from "Software Testing Support Inc." in Atlanta Georgia, for a total of $395.00. The next day, June 17, 2009, I realized that this was not the industry-wide certification I needed and so I canceled my order via email.  I also followed-up with a phone call.  I should have been suspiciois when no one every game me their name or address and they were difficult to reach on the phone.  They did promise to process a refund for me right away.  They asked me to return the materials when I received them (they had already gone out in the mail).  They told me that they would process the refund before I returned the materials.  A couple weeks went by and I had not received the refund.  I was holding on to the unopened materials until I received my refund which they promised they were processing.  I contact them by email and they said that they were processing it.  A couple more weeks went by and no refund yet.  This time, they emailed that they would review the status.  They told me that it was in process and would be sent in the next couple days.  They asked if I had returned the materials yet, and I said no, but that I would return them immediately. I went to the post office in the next couple days and had the package sent back "Refused - Return to Sender" as I had never opened the package (this would automatically go back to their own return address). I followed up numerous times and no response.  They finally told me that check #48510 was mailed on July 27.  Today is August 26, 2009 and I have not received this check yet.  I emailed them several requests to put a stop payment on the check and mail a new one.  They have since stopped responding to my emails.  I can never reach anyone on their phone.  I have all their emails to back this statement up.  I was ripped off by this company!  "Software Testing Support Inc." is obviously a non-reputable company.
