Dealers Warranty, llc Total scammers...misleading deceptive telemarketers Saint Charles Missouri
I got taken by these creeps also. They call and sell you a warranty for your car, which covers power train and some other major components. They want something like $500.00 or so to start. I ended up talking them down to $110.00. What they never mention on the phone is that they are going to send you a bottle of Duralube engine additive which the fine print says you have to use in your engine for the warranty to be valid. It gets better, there is no automobile warranty. When you get your contract, if you pay real close attention it says that this is a product warranty. the warranty is for the bottle of duralube . As in if you use this bottle of duralube your engine and other parts will be protected. etc. I caught on to this and ended up only loosing my $110.00 but they want me to pay another hundred or so to cancel my contract. You see what they don't tell you on the phone is that there is a 10% fee for the time they spent on the phone trying to scam you. I sent back the duralube as the contract said I could to cancel my contract. I just keep recieving bills, and past due notices. Oh and there are all of about 5 employees that work there.Try and call to cancel within the first three days, and all you get is the run around and time on hold. You may end up on an answering machine, but don't hold your breath for a call back. The reason they do that is because, the written contract which you dont recieve for over a week, says that you must cancel within 3 days to avoid fees, or some mumbo jumbo. When I did talk to a "manager" he kept sayin , "sorry you feel that way". They refused to talk to my bank fraud dept, saying I had to call on my own, I was on three way calling with my bank and them. When he told me I had to pay an addtional amount to cancel, I said "I'm sorry you feel that way".
