dearman appraisal the va apprasior sold me worth less property Scottsboro, Alabama
I bought a property using my VA loan. The house and property flood each year. My appraisor was a Brenda Dearman she was the only Va appraisor available. She told me that there was nothing wrong with the land. The house was ok. So I aked her was there anything that I should be aware of with this property. She said no. She did not tell me that she and her x-husband, had owned it for 5 yrs. and that they had sold it to the person I was buying from. Her name was Boyd and Brenda Lemon. I did not find this out till after the place flooded in Dec. 1999. The property has had a history of flooding for over 100yrs.. The person Jim Robinson and realtor Debra Burton realty who I bought the property from. All had a hand in defrauding us of a home to live in. We have lived here 12 yrs. now and the house is about ready to fall in, due to the constant flooding every yr. it is a seasonal thing. It floods from Dec to Apr. at anytime after a good rain it will flood, it comes up and under the home. I does not get into the house but gets up to 2ft deep under the house. Causing all sorts of problems. I have pictures if any body wants to see them. Thanks for letting me sound off.
