I'm in NH, too (Durham) and I own a Dell Dimension 8100. A couple months after I set it up, I managed to completely fry my video card. It was probably my own fault. After an hour and a half of trying different things, the problem was diagnosed and a technician was sent right to my dorm room to fix it! Every time I have called they have been more than happy to work through it until I get a solution. Sure it might take a while, but they keep at it. Call again and keep calling until you get someone who can help you. You didn't mention what the problem is though. Does it not work or can you not set it up properly? Keep in mind that not all the Dell tech people are equal in customer service and computer savviness.
