Design by Hybrid, Hybrid Industries Web developer took the money - did not deliver the goods. A scam artist. Internet
I met and hired Jared Cooper,(supposed) founder and CEO of Design by Hybrid in March of 2011. I gave him about 4 pages detailing exactly what I wanted. I even went to istock photo and chose each photo and gave him the stock number for each photo. All the verbiage was written, the design set out with what colors to use and how I wanted it to look. He said I'd done so much already he could have it completed in 3-4 weeks tops. The first website looked like something a middle-schooler would do. I told him I chose him because he had such a great website and I was sure he could do better.
Initially he was responsive and within another month sent me something much better. I said YES! That is much better. He kept sending me-basically-- snapshots of my site. I asked him to go ahead and set it up--it was fine- I was happy with it. EIGHT months later I'm still trying to get him to make my site active. We paid half down. I repeatedly said I waas happy with it and let's meet so you can show me how to navigate the control panel and I can pay you the balance.
It NEVER happened. Whenever I tried to pin him down it was like I was talking to someone who had not taken their medication . . He would then get accusatory and act like he was just doing business as usual. Notice on the website that he does not show his whole face? It's mostly covered by a helmet --even the lower half of his face. When I hired him he didn't even have a page with staff. Supposedly he's here in Portland but there is no address for Portland on his entire site. He's a poser- a fake - he takes the money and runs.

Client did not give us 4 pages with outlines of what she wanted she rather instead insisted we copy another clients website. We would have completed this project within the set guidelines & due date if the client had responded in a timely manner to our emails. A few times the client took almost a month to answer an email. Saying our first website design looked like something a middle schooler would do is a very childish statement of which has no merit without any kind of proof. I find the attacks on me personally implying i'm crazy or didn't take my medication offensive and slanderous. If this clients wants her money back she can take this up with us legally in a court of law but these attacks are ignorant and uncalled for. Please take this complaint offline as without any kind of proof backing these statements it is slander / libel.
