THIS COMPANY IS A RIPOFF! The only people making money or staying in business is Discount Retail Store Services. They make a ridiculous amount of money on their "Package" then make money off "finding: you a location. I have spoken to several people who went into business they last few months and they are already closing their doors. This company said they will refund my deposit no questions asked, when I asked they said NO, they found me a location. This person Melissa Mato claiming to be an agent tried to "sell" me a retail location that I know is a bad location. STAY FAR AWAY!

We are writing in response to the posting by “Mario Lopez”, allegedly of Brooklyn, New York.

 Although “Mario” claims that he has not received a requested refund (after we found him a location) of his deposit from us, an exhaustive search of our data base shows that we have not worked with or for a “Mario Lopez”, or a Mario, or a Lopez, in Brooklyn at any time, going back a number of years.  We are North America’s largest developer of independently owned retail stores because no other developer provides the level of service and value that we provide for the price; no one even comes close.  “Mario’s” claim that our Company makes “ridiculous amount(s) of money” are clearly unfounded.  We provide excellent value; this is why we have been able to develop over 3,000 retail stores in the last 20 years!

 “Mario” claims to have spoken to stores that opened in the last few months and are closing their doors—but names none of them.  I would ask that he provide me with the names of those owners, so that I can address them specifically, if in fact they exist.

 “Mario” goes on to name one of our employees, and claims that she tried to “sell” him on a location.  This is clearly not true, as Melissa is a new employee, and has only worked for us for several weeks. She has a small number of clients, and has NEVER worked with a client in the State of New York, no less in Brooklyn.

 Our Company has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau; an agency which accepts legitimate questions or concerns from consumers, and gives businesses an opportunity to professionally address the consumers’ concerns, unlike the Ripoff Report.  As of September of this year, the BBB indicates that they have received over 120 inquiries from individuals interested in doing business with our company; all have received honest, favorable reports!  We encourage all potential clients to review our record with the BBB; we are justifiably proud of that record.

 When we look at the number of postings on the Ripoff Report (many of which are bogus, or have been addressed to the customers’ satisfaction (when they actually are real people ) and compare that small number to the number of clients we have worked with over the past 20 years, we find that we have a Satisfaction Rate of over 99.97% !  We are very proud of this record, as well.

 I would welcome the opportunity to speak directly with “Mario” because based on our documentation and our computer based records, we have no evidence that we have ever had a client by this name.  Perhaps he can give me the particulars of his alleged complaint so that I can discuss them with him.  Rest assured that we will past the results of any follow up with “Mario”, as well.

 It is interesting that another “report” was posted on the same day as this one, also from an alleged customer that we cannot locate in our data base, and who does not even make the effort to create a false name, using only a city and state.
