Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

In all honesty, I do not know where they are located. The other day I got a call saying I had used my credit/debit card at the grocery store and had been authorized for a $500 grocery card. I was told that I was under no obligation and there was nothing I had to pay for. I do not know why I didn't just hang up, but I didn't. He told me to verify my name and address, which I did. Then he asked me to verify my card number.

After I gave him the info he needed he told me I needed to pay a small shipping fee. As soon as I heard that I told him I was not interested. He told me it was too late. I had verified what he needed and I couldn't cancel until I got a verification number. I asked for his supervisor. I was then hung up on twice. I got so tired of it that I just started yelling and telling them I was not paying for it. I yelled that I did not want it several times.

I was hung up on for a third time. The next call came not from California, but from Nebraska. He said he was the supervisor. I calmly explained that I was not interested and he told me the same story about needing a verifation number to cancel. I told him flat out I was not interested and if they charged my card for even a cent I would sue. I was not going to be a victim for a second time. He told me that he was not "scamming" me, and that if he was he wouldn't be calling me back as he already had what he would need to scam me.

I started to yell at him and he yelled right back at me. He hung up on me and that was the last call. I immediately called my bank, and reported my card stolen. It was in every sense of the word. I verified the last charge I approved, and the card was cancelled. I am hoping that will be the end of it, but if not, I am ready to fight them all the way. I have been scammed once already, I will not go through that again. I am prepared for whatever comes from these frauds, but it sickens me to my core that there are people out there willing to rip someone off just to get a little ahead. We are all struggling in one way or another, it is disappointing that instead of building each other up, some people just want to tear you down.
