Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Dish Network continues over billing me, attempting to break their agreement made with me months ago to "fix" their billing errors.

The problem with Dish, is that they get you to sign up on a bait and switch (they promote one price but, the minute you're signed up, you are locked into a never ending loop of being over charged and a never corrected situation where they promise over and over they will "take care of everything") ...and it never gets corrected.

This is their little trick.

So, the question is, do you want to waste your time (hours!) trying to get them to adhere to what they've already agreed to or do you just want to pay them as they hold you hostage?

I, personally, am paying them what I agreed to pay when I got a corporate-level type--after several hours of phone calls. Her name is Shelley Cruz and the "best she could do" was about $5.00 above what I had originally agreed to pay.

So, even though I agreed to pay $77 and change per month--after the initial promotional six months expirsed--I agreed to now pay $82 and change per month just to keep the peace.

Big mistake to try to appease these ripoff artists.

They continue to bill me for a MUCH higher monthly rate (over $110) and now, of course, the difference between the agreed $82 and change per month is now accruing month to month (it's grown to over $100 now, despite my thinking the problem had been ironed out).

Read on this board my original report where I tell the story of how Dish ripped off my credit card number and started billing me for other things not auhorized ...and how I had to cancel that card to get them to stop.

I've read other reports (hundreds of them) about how they abuse your credit card once they have the number so, I pay them through the bill-pay system of my bank. I recommend this, as the bank has a complete record of all of my payments--and Dish cannot access my account.

Eventually, Dish is going to turn off my signal because they feel as though I should pay them for the money they are overcharging me. At that time, I will take great delight in shopping up their equipment into little pieces and mailing them the remains.

Now, YOU know NOT to get Dish Network.

At least, I can say I did my good deed online!

Dave!
