Movers put our furniture in the wet lawn before bringing it inside. No furniture was assembled. Boxes were not placed in the designated rooms as we had requested. Movers arrived late and were given the wrong address from their boss. Movers were given the wrong instructions about our move and thought they were loading the truck but not unloading it. We had to clarify with them after they arrived (even though I had clarified this with their boss earlier that morning). Movers took 4 hours extra to load a one bedroom / one bathroom apartment. The "average" load time of a one bedroom apartment is 2 hours (as admitted by the manager) Movers took excessive breaks and moved extremely slowly. They would sit idle until they saw me staring at them, and then they would start working again. All desks and tables have significant scratches and damage. David Cohen has been unapologetic and rude when we have tried to discuss the poor quality of service. At this point we are considering taking them to court for the damages done to our property. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!!!! Poor quality, damaged items, not prepared, VERY SLOW WITH HOURLY RATE, rude owner.

I am the owner of Divine Moving and I would like to respond to what I find to be a fake report and a personal attack.
First of all I can always be reached via email at [email protected] or by calling 212-244-4011 I am always available to take calls.
1. We believe that a competitor posted this fake review based on many factors that I will share some here. The competitor that posted wrote manager since I am 100% active in running the company I dont have any managers
2. 99% of our moves are in the city and I dont remember a lawn on Fifth Avenue.
3. Damage? We have a full time carpenter and a restoration company on payroll to make sure that if something does happen we are on top of it. In fact we even fix pre-existing damages if we see them.
4. Since we only do local moves we always load and unload- nothing is left on the trucks, these trucks must be ready for another customer for the following day.
5. Our movers are known to be fast and very good at their job we make sure they provide our customer the best service we can offer in order to get their returned business and referrals Because of these referrals we dont need to spend a fortune on advertisement. I believe that you can pay for advertisement but you cant pay for referrals they only come from doing a good job and taking care of our customers.
6. The last point I need to make is that I am know to be one of the nicest owner of a moving company in NY ask anyone, I have very loyal group of movers that are with me for over 10 years because we do things the right way. I have never been rude to anyone especially not a client that was the fact that helped me understand that this is a fake report. I feel sorry for the company that posted the report.
7. If any of these is true I ask the person who claims we moved him to post an image of the credit card bill, moving contract with Divines logo on it or anything that proves we did this move- Trust me that would not happen. I am sure that this site keeps IP addresses and well match them and get to the poster.
It is very sad that a competitor is using slander to try and hurt our hard earned reputation and insult my reputation, instead they should use the time and improve their company instead of slandering the competition.
Again if anyone has a real claim please contact me directly at 212-244-4011 or by email at [email protected] http://www.divinemoving.com
