No clue what this is all about but I just googled my name and saw Driedpodcentral.com (???) posted something online with my name included in it and a whole arguement over some things I'm not quite sure I even understand or what the heck people are talking about LET ALONE I DID NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, LET ALONE FROM ANY ONLINE COMPANY BESIDES AMAZON, EBAY, AND ITUNES. Why is my name being used to fight somebodies online war over ornamental poppy stems??/pods???/flowers???.
Obviously somebody got my information and decided to claim to be me? WHY? I have no idea, i am just now discovering this after multiple people who apparently googled my name have asked me about it, much to my total confusion. Now that I see what it is I am a bit angry and wonder what there is I can do to get my name off of this website and out of these flame-war posts on this random forum. I never placed an order with these people nor did I post any of this. Period.
There HAS to be some sort of recourse for this as my name is fairly unique and I simply do not want name associated with any of this. Who is using my name? How/who do I contact to persue charges of slander and or fraud (with the person selling who posted my name AND the person who possibly used my credit card unnoticed to make a purchase then use my name fraudulently).
Anybody have any advice on how to go after the offenders or at least get my name off of this website??? There aren't very many others like me out there, hence the Google search results... so it had to have been my credit card that got charged on/name used, etc. I will be contacting my CC company, the seller, and this websites moderator.... and a lawyer if it comes to that. This is serious as it effects my business relations and trust and confuses others just as much as it does me!
PLEASE HELP!

Hi, This is Karissa from Driedpodcentral.com.
We are family of sweetpaulaspods which is why we show up as the same business. We help each other out, sure, but we are two separate businesses which handle our customers and businesses differently. We have the same supplier and live in the same town and I design and maintain both websites. Poppypodcentral.com was the old url for driedpodcentral.com before we changed names to keep the possibility open to stock other types of pods without much marketing change.
As for Corey Jochum's complaint, he emailed driedpodcentral AND sweetpaulaspods mutliple times within 5 hours threatening to put a scam report because he hasn't heard from us yet when we were busy filling out the orders for the day and on our website it states to give us 24 hours to reply NOT because we scam but because we do have a life outside of our business and even during business hours we could be busy actually getting orders ready to ship. We do email every customer back within 24 hours and we emailed Corey back BEFORE we shipped out his product. We even called him and left a message so he has our number and he never called us back.
*I have ALL emails saved so if anyone needs proof of us emailing him back just email [email protected] stating that you would like to see emails as proof of us not being fraudulent and I will be happy to send them to you.*
There are times when we miscount or mistakenly send a moldy pod. IF THIS HAPPENS SEND THE PRODUCT BACK FOR A FULL REFUND INCLUDING THE COST OF SHIPPING BACK TO US! As soon as we receive the pods we will see that we messed up and send you the CORRECT order with EXTRAS to make up for it OR offer a full refund.. your choice!
Corey Jochum never sent the pods back to us and so we could not offer a refund. We are sorry for the pods you received, but I know for a fact that not ONE was below 2" in circumference because we do not even carry that size. It is possible and a very common mistake to get diameter mixed up with circumference.
We have been very civil and nice to this customer and have kept offering the refund but he wouldn't take it. There is nothing we can do if you do not want to refund. We have only had two customers complain since we started our business one year ago.(Jan 2011) If for any reason people have ordered from us and are NOT happy with their pods PLEASE email us and we will do our best to fix the situation. We have not once ignored an email from our customers.
As for our personal information, Shonny is SweetPaula and her husband is Josh Yates. Cody Tinnell is her son and I am Cody's girlfriend, Karissa Snyder, and co-owner of driedpodcentral.com.We no longer live in Broken Arrow, OK. 812-5086 was MY personal cell phone number but it is out of order now as I have updated my phone when we moved to South Lake Tahoe, our current place of business.
Whois gets its information from globat.com which is our domain and web host server. Joshua Yates is who pays for the websites which are both under the same account. Cody and I actually update and design the website so [email protected] is listed as the email so we can receive the "server is down" emails so we can fix it right away.
We also only give customers a PO box address because we work out of our house and are an online business, not a brick and mortar business. We DO have a number we contact customers with if they provide us with a phone number and there is an issue with their order. We used to have it displayed when we had poppypodcentral.com as our domain name but there are only two of us and people would call every 5 minutes throughout the day and night.... pretty much it was abused so we took it off the website but we do still use it and we called Corey Jochum before sending out his order and left a message.
There is a reason why there are no other scam reports! We are not scammers, we are just a family of poppy pod vendors who help each other out.
If you for some reason believe we are scammers please do not hesitate to email us at [email protected]
Thank you for taking the time to read this,
