I hired these guys to lay down an EPDM membrane on my roof. I supplied the majority of the materials.

We agreed on a deal of $2500 for a leak free roof.

They cut corners everywhere, and did a very poor sloppy job that is now leaking.

I have been calling them everyday leaving messages for them to come fix my roof but they never call me back.

They were supposed to send me an invoice in e-mail with a breakdown of the costs and my 5 year leak free warranty in writing. They have never done this and think they can get away with it.

They were supposed to buy another pail of bonding adhesive to glue down my roof, but they pocketed the money instead.

They told me they were bringing a crew to professionally finish my roof, but ended up showing up by themselves (only 2 guys).

They said they wouldn't cut my EPDM membrane and would lay it down in one sheet to avoid seams. They cut the EPDM without my approval, before we had even agreed to the job.

The flashing details are utter garbage, not even glued and wide open for water to get in.

They said they were certified by Firestone to put down EPDM. But they violated and compromised Firestone specifications in too many ways to count. The main things, are using only one pail of bonding adhesive on a 600 square foot roof when Firestone Specifications clearly state that one pail is only good for 350 squre feet max.

Their corner details are a joke. Firestone specifications say to fold the EPDM membrane around corners and edges and seal off properly. Because these idiots don't know what they're doing they just cut the EPDM everywhere instead of folding and did a sloppy job pasting it in. They introduced seams everywhere (where they weren't required). They compromised the waterproof capability of the EPDM by introducing all the unnecessary seams.

They glued down aspalt based shingles on top of the EPMD rubber when this is the golden rule of EPDM. EPDM is not compatible with asphalt and oil based products because the oils eat away at the EPDM.

The used oil based sealants on the EPDM to patch their sloppy work. These oil based sealants will eventually eat away at the rubber.

They did not give a leak free roof, I have two major leaks immediately after their work.

They did not put any metal capping around the chimney so there is a completely exposed entry for water into my house.

They said this was a 2 day job, then only spent 6 hours of actual work.

Instead of buying all the proper supplies they stole the cash for their own pockets.

They paid themselves a doctor's wage of $150/hr for garbage work. $150/hr, for roofers? Some Doctor's don't even get that much, and these guys are bumbling idiots.

Also, there are wrinkles everywhere in the EPDM membrane. When I spoke with them on the roof on the job they told me they waited 5 minutes for the glue to become "tacky" before laying down the membrane. That is clear violation of Firestone specifications. You are supposed to wait until the glue is dry to the touch. That is why there are wrinkles there, because they don't know what they are doing and put down the membrane while it was still tacky.
