Ducktown Dodge ripoff, milage fraud, warranty deception, violation of state law of registration Ducktown Tennessee
On November 26,2005 my husband and I purchased a 02 Durango. Was told that it was in warranty it had 7 years 70,000 miles. On Dec 5 the finance company called to verify the info on the truck. We found out that Ducktown sent in the milage at 35,000 and it actually had 61,000.
We tried to call the dealer several times but noone would return the calls. So on Dec7,we drove an hour to get there to redo the paperwork cause the value of the truck changed. We asked for proof of the warranty but they could not give it in writing.coming to find out there was no warranty it had 3yrs/36,000mls.
We refused to sign until a warranty was given. I started calling them on Dec 22 to have them send me a new temp tag. Five calls and almost 2 weeks later I received them. Chrysler company had no record of the extended warranty.
I called the dealer again the warranty had been filed away and not processed. On Jan 4 they told my husband that the paperwork for the tags was in the mail to Hamilton County Clerk. As of Jan 17 the clerk had no record of the purchase. I called the dealer to find that again the paperwork for the tags was filed away and NOT SENT OUT. I asked what happened and why and she hung up on me.
Ended up speaking with the new GM and he said that the tags will be sent. So we will wait and see. I have had this vehicle for almost 2 months and it is still not registered to us at all.
If you want to get the run around, hung up on, and sorry service go to DUCKTOWN DODGE.
