To start, I trusted this endeavor 100%, and that was my problem.

I called Michelle Miller/East Coast Imports interested in a particular vehicle (2000 BMW 328ci).  I purchased a vehicle from them February 22nd and everything seemed fine.  I bought the car after putting $1,100 down and financing it over a 28 month period.

When I drove the car, everything seemed perfect.  It ran smooth and there were only minor issues cosmetically(which to me was normal) in the interior.  The tires weren't in as good of shape as I would have liked, but I was dealing with what I considered to be a friend so I overlooked some aspects because I trusted her.

After purchasing the car and driving it off the lot, the check engine light came on.  I called Michelle right away and said, "Michelle, the check engine light is on."  She told me, "Oh, don't worry about it, in European cars they come on all the time!"  By the way the car drove, I entertained the idea.  The next day was a different story, however.

Starting up the car, it began to idle funny.  Up and down went the tachometer and so I called her again later on in the day after getting to work.  Michelle, the car is acting funny, talk to John so we can get this straightened out.

She never called me back so I called her again and she said to stop in and see John and talk to him about the issues.  The next day I barely got to East Coast Sports and Imports.  Talking with John, he said, "I don't have a mechanic here, so leave the car and I'll find one for you."  I said, "I have to work and at my job there is a mechanic so I'll have him look at it."  He said, "Great! Let me know how it goes."

After getting to work I took the car to EMI and here's what they found:

Instrument Cluster Bad
Headlights not in correctly.
Intake Manifold Clips broken
Keyless Entry broken
Coolant Expansion tank leaking
Belt broken on a tire
Hoses were saturated with oil and had to be replaced(which caused the initial problem)
Air conditioning does not work
Visor mirror lights don't work.
Blinkers didn't work correctly and stayed on well after taking the turn
The car beeped after turning it off and locking it for hours after walking away (as if the key was still in the ignition)

Just to put it into perspective: The first problem I had with John/East Coast Sports and Imports was the hoses being saturated and Chris at EMI was pleasant and informative.  He diagnosed the problem right away and fixed it.  John said that he would flip the bill for the initial problem($322) but when Chris from EMI sent him the bill he got no response whatsoever.

Stay away from this company, John, who owns it, and Michelle Miller the finance manager.  Even if they say they will give you a good deal, the price I paid for this vehicle + repairs is well over $4500 the Kelley Blue Book value.  Would you be able to sleep at night if you were them?  If you want to sleep at night, don't buy from them.

These people have no regard for the consumer, customer service, or even good business.

That is all.
