Ebay Store - Cellcorner Mobile Unlock ripoff Buyer Beware, Mobile Phone Unlocking Scam By Ebay Seller Internet
Here is how it works.
This individual will offer to sell you a cable for your cell phone, which unlock it, making it usable on other cell networks. Seller states that the cable is only good with his software, that you can download free from his site, after you purchase his cable.
Quote from his ebay store...
"This cable is only for use with SIM/SP unlocking software
Software suit & download instructions are not included in the auction. If you are interested in unlocking a phone from the list of suported models FREE unlocking software download is available after buying this item."
Also note, he will charge you more for shipping than for the cable.
After you pay for the item, you goto his website, where you will find, there is no software. If you email the seller, you get no reply. I left a negative feedback on ebay for the seller, which he pretty much counts on, as the last person to leave feedback gets the final say, in this case, he claimed I did not read the terms.. As per ebay policy, I do not get the option for a rebuttal.
Be sure to avoid doing business with unscrupulous ebay stores, I for one have been burned with a useless cable, and a seller devoid of morals or ethics. Fortunately, this seller is, in my experience, the exception rather than the rule. Most Ebay sellers are very honest.
