I found an UNauthorized charge dated 13 Mar 2006 for $19.05 on my credit card statement. Using the business name given, I did a Google search and immediately saw several references for E-Club marketing RIP OFFs at this website.

All of the RIP OFF reports matched exactly what had happened to me !!! They had recently signed up for DISH Network satellite and soon thereafter found an UNauthorized charge on their debit or credit card from E-Club Marketing for $19.05. Some said they had been charged 2ND TIME a few weeks later..........

All of the RIP OFF reports said they had contacted DISH Network satellite and/or E-Club Marketing and were given the proverbial "run around"

(1) no knowledge of the charge and/or

(2) vague promise of a credit

(3) but NONE of them received credit for the UNauthorized charge

I tried to call E-Club Marketing at (877) 728-7829 at least 20 times on Mar 16th & 17th 2006 but was placed on hold for 15-20 minutes and then disconnected and was never able to make contact

Using the advice given by the EDITOR of this website, I called my credit card company today and requested a DISPUTE form. My credit card company issued an immediate credit of $19.05 to my account. My credit card company advised to call them back when/if another charge appears on my account and at that time they would (1) send me a dispute form (2) contact E-Club Marketing to attempt resolution (3) file appropriated fraudulent billing reports if necessary (4) issue another credit to my credit card account.

I was so lucky not to have used my DEBIT card as resolving debit card charges is much more difficult.

FYI - I am retired from AT&T resident billing and had to deal with HUNDREDS of fraudulent billing charges by unscrupulous "fly by night" telecommunication companies - some taking more than ONE YEAR to resolve. So please be aware that these E-Club Marketing charges are RECURRENT and they will NOT go away without constant and dedicated efforts on your part !!!

BOTTOM LINE --- start the complaint process IMMEDIATELY and b***h like hell until you get resolution !!!

ALSO, not all employees are as knowledgeable or as willing to help a customer as are some others so don't hesitate to ask to speak to another representative or a manager if you get the run around from one!!

ALWAYS, ALWAYS make sure you get the name of EVERY person you talk to and make detailed NOTES !!!!!

Ok basically I am a phone answerer for eclub at the number above. Before there was reports of reps just hanging up and not cancelling accounts. Basically you got e-club not through dish network, but through the SALESPARTNER (EG) you signed up through. The sales rep signed you up for e-club whether you knew it or not. All you have to do now (recently opened a new dept that im in) is call the number we reverse the charge and cancel the account.
