I Purchased a used 1998 Chevy MonteCarlo from Ed Bozarth Chevrolet in Auroa Colrado for my wife; AS IS. During the test drive the heater failed to operate, and I noticed a few other minor problems. My sales person and the finacial officer agreed to correct the problems, and gave me 30 days to report any other problems which they agreed to repair free of charge. The heater problem turned out to be a leaky intake manifold, and those few other problems turned out to be a defective turn signal switch. Ed Bozath's service people fixed all the problems in 48 hours, detailed the car for free, gave us an owners manual, ash tray, and other parts for free!!! They treated us like we just purchased a private jet. Now I take all my vehicles to ED bozarth.

Ed Bozarth is not a qualified lease inspection company. When you turn in your leased vehicle make sure you understand what you will be charged for (ie excessive wear and tear). I followed the "lease square" guidelines, had an ed bozarth rep go over the car damage with me (there was none according to him) and was still billed for excessive wear and tear. When I confronted the rep he stated "we don't own the car, we don't inspect the car, it's gone now, etc." I was led to believe ed bozarth rep could help me with the lease turn in, but they cannot. Thank you.

I chose not to purchase from Ed Bozarth in result of what I felt as an attempt to 'push' me into a car. I was ordering a Corvette and both the sales manager and rep told me if I didn't order by the end of the month the price would go up about 10k and they were so far back ordered I may never see a 2003. Something didn't smell right so I went to another dealership, ordered the same vehicle 4 months later, got guarateed delivery, great customer service and no pressure. Not to mention that 10k price increase, didn't happen. I don't know if they just wanted me out because they didn't think I was serious but this act confirmed all the icky stuff I had read about Ed Bozarth. My suggestion, think over any purchase. Apply at least the 24 hour rule, get as much as you can in writing and trust your instinct. If it doesn't pass the smell test, it's probably rotten.

I Have bought four vehicles there. I have nothing but good things to say about the dealership. The lemon law is only for new vehicles, and only a vehicles that have continueous problems. "As is" means "as is" on used vehicles. You can buy the extended warranty or have your mechanic check the vehicle before you buy. I know you can do that, I have done it. Don't expect miracles if you have bad credit when buying a car or especialy a suburban. How can you evan began to blame the dealership for your bad credit? Think about it. The other dealership probubly sat on that $1,000 because they couldn't get you financed. Learn how to buy a car before you go to the dealership or take someone who can help you.

Ed Bozarth, he is so fine, so fine, so fine, He just really blows my mind. Ed Bozarth he is so kind, so kind, so kind, He always takes the time. Call and ask for Mr. Ed Bozarth. He is a good man, and he will take the time to answer your questions. He may be hard to get in touch with, but take a chance, you might be surprised to find out how nice of a guy he really is. You should always pray and ask God for guidance when buying anything new. Take twenty four hours of your time, and seek God's direction on which new vehicle is right for you. New or preowned, you should take time to pray about your choice. Haste makes waste. Take your time, and find the deal that makes you happy. Listen to your gut feelings about something, if it doesn't feel right, go with that feeling, usually it will be right. May God help all of you who are unhappy with Ed Bozarth Chev., find peace and a wonderful vehicle, that will make you forget your bad experience. God bless you all.

The Lemon Law only pertains to new vehicles, not used vehicles! Also, I have tried to buy a used Suburban from Bozarth Chevrolet in Aurora for 3 years now, & have really been put off by their salemen & managers, who seem to treat customers as cattle! Last year when Bozarth did not want to try to get me financed, because I do not have "gold-plated" credit, Luby Chevrolet got me financed, but sat on on my $1,000 deposit, while the vehicle I contracted to buy was sold to another customer! Is there any decent Chevy dealers in the Denver metro area???

While I cannot stand dealing with car salesmen, one thing they do not tell you is about Colorado's lemon law. If you buy a vehicle you can return it within thirty days for whatever reason. Hopefully, this will help someone being told they bought the car "as is". Yes,you may have bought the car as is with no warranty but you also have the lemon law to fall back on for thirty days.

Grand Junction,#14UPDATE EX-employee responds
Sat, February 16, 2002
I would just like to say on behalf of Ed Bozarth Chevrolet, that it is a good company. Being an ex-employee, I do know that things like this can happen. When a vehicle is taken as a trade in, I know for a fact that they are run through an inspection and they are checked for any defects that would prevent the vehicle from being sellable. All I want to say, it that when a vehicle is bought as a, "as is sale", then there is always a chance of something like this happening. Since it was a used vehicle, and was sold as low as it could be sold, the sales person may have received a very small commission, so there was little that he could do to have it repaired. A company can only eat so much of the cost, before they take a huge loss theirselves. The salesperson probably didn't make much of a commission, and then he most likely lost all his commission when it was applyed to fix up the vehicle that was sold. It comes out of the salespersons pocket, and he most likely lost his commision, and that is why they are not willing to fix it up any more than they already have. There is no money left on this account to apply towards the "sold as is vehicle". Being bitter at such an experience is understandable, but you too have to realize that you did purchase it as a "sold as is vehicle". If there would have been an extended warranty with the purchase then maybe this could have been avoided. I defend Ed Bozarth Chevrolet and I this can be resolved in a peaceful manner. Thank you.

To Whom it May Concern, I recently had a similar experience when buying a car from the Ed Bozarth location in Aurora. I bought a 95 Subaru Legacy and also signed the "as is agreement". Just after my temporary plates expired, I threw a pulley and a belt and took my car to my regular mechanic. I was shocked to find out that my engine was in deplorable condition, the crank shaft was bad, and that the car may only last me for a few thousand miles. Now, I bought the car because I am a twenty-two year old woman trying to get on my feet and start my life. I wanted a car for a reasonable price that would last me for several years. I decided after discussing these matters with my mechanic, to schedule a meeting with the GM at Bozarth. I went in, explained my situation, and expected to get ignored. I was literally ill when I walked into the showroom. To my surprise, I was dealt with in a very considerate matter and attented to promptly. The mechanics there looked at the car and verified what I had been told by my own repair man. I was told that they would tear apart the lower part of my engine and see how far the damage went. I was also told that if I preferred or if the damage was too extensive, they would give me my money back on another car. I got my Subary back, and a warranty on the maintenence preformed on my engine at no cost to myself. The outstanding customer service I received at Ed Bozarth made me a life-long customer.
