Elijah's Mom NEVER GOT MY PRODUCT AND I PAID FOR IT. DON'T BELIEVE THE SOB STORY!!! SHE'S A RIP OFF!!! Mattawan Michigan
My mother in law is a diabetic. She wanted to get a diabetic bracelet that was a little more attractive than your standard silver id bracelet. I found this site and saw all the different combinations of bracelets and custom engraving. I saw examples and was impressed with the work. So I ordered a custom tag for her and her sister (also a diabetic).
Well I placed my order back in August of 2006. My credit card was charged the approximate amount of $60.00. ($29.95 for each gold custom engraved charm) It is now March of 2007. I still have not received the products, nor have any of my requests for a response from this company been answered.
The owner or a representative have not replied to over four emails (the only way to contact them) that I have sent. Product was paid for, credit card was charged, product never delivered. Product was ordered 06/01/06 and I have been unable to get a response from them since. I have also logged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
BBB tried to contact her only to receive their certified letter back stating that the PO Box was no longer in use. I have called the phone number I found, only to get an Alltel message box and none of my messages have been returned.
I am appalled that a company would pray on sick people (they advertise these bracelets for diabetics, ect.) and then RIP THEM OFF. There are several "blog" entries on her site from her, stating that she has not been in good health and that she's getting her orders out as soon as she can. In all this time, I have not received one email, phone call, or even a letter acknowledging the fact that I have contacted her several times.
My credit card company has told me that they would not reverse the charges as I put in a claim to late. Per the elijah's mom website, my order would be shipped 08/01/06. Since I waited to get my product (and never received it) I contacted AMEX and AMEX stated that it was too late. They only allow it within 60 days of the purchase. How convienent that she wrote in her blog that prodcuts would be sent out 08/01, which was exactly 60 days from the date of purchase.
I am furious at this company as well as AMEX for not refunding a fraudulent charge as the company is obviously a FRAUD!!!
