We found an Ad for a 2007 Toyota Camry on Classifiedads.com. The price was only $2650.00 and although it was to good to be true I pursued it. I emailed Elizabeth Parker and she got back to me right away saying we would do the deal through Yahoo Autos. Through email she explained she moved in with her mother in Montana because her husband had just died. She said she left the car in the custody of Yahoo Autos. Yahoo Autos does not off any sort of service like this. I got a very official looking email from Yahoo Autos saying it was awaiting payment on the 2007 Toyota Camry. It had a Vehicle ID#, a Case#, a blurb at the bottom about how the payment works and how your money is safe, overall just a very official looking email that makes you feel safe. They tell you to send the money to a Yahoo Financing Agent in Columbus OH by the name of Robert Gonsalves. We were so excited about the car and obviously not thinking we went to a Western Union and sent the money. We even followed up and sent an email with all the information they needed to pick up the money in Cleveland OH. We even tried to fax the information to a number that turned out to be fake.
Through ripoff report we found others have almost been scammed by this "woman" and "her" IP address is in Romania. If any one has any ideas on how I can get my money back or more importantly, how we can stop her from making a living by scamming people online.
