I am a victim of FEDMOD and before them Mason Capital Group, they both have D nd F ratings with their respective BBB but I was too naive and desperate to check them out before I tried them out. I have been scammed by Countrywide Home Loans with their predatory lending, Mason Capital Group with them taking six months to get me a loan restructure which lowered our interest by .25% and raised our payments by $35.00. FEDMOD took $1000 of my money, did nothing for in return and have not refunded my according to their 100% money back guarantee. I still have my house but it is only through the grace of God! No thanks to Countrywide, Mason Capital, FEDMOD are given.

You stated that I bought a house I could not afford. How do you know do you have a copy of my statement. I purchased my home in 1996, with a $44,000.00 down payment. Just so you know. Funny the legal department what a joke, I contacted a variety of departments and their were no records on file, by FLM. So you need to get some better information. Plus, I was behind due to multiple surgeries, and the recession. Now go somewhere be quiet and imput this new information in that brain of yours.

It doesn't surprise me to see all these consumer reports on sites like this, bashing good companies that are helping 100's of homeowners everyday. The FTC is not sueing Federal Loan Modification, they simply filed a complaint regarding their 100% money back guarantee advertisement and it has already been settled. Your contact at Federal Loan Modification is right, the servicing and legal department don't work together and the information regarding the negotiations between the mod company and your lender may not be in the same system. Seriously, it makes me so angry to see all these homeowners who bought homes they couldn't afford in the first place, bashing companies like Federal Loan Modification who are trying to make a difference. If I had a dollar for every homeowner like you, who expects a hand out from "HOPE" and everybody else, I would be retired. Companies like Federal Loan Modification Company and Feldman Law Center help more homeowners in one day than the government programs help in 1 month. It is time that the truth is known and moron homeowners like you and everyone else bashing these companies face the music. Regards The tax payer who bought a house he could afford
