Stay clear of this company!
They take your money but do not provide the service you request!  They try to give another service you do not want.  Heres the story.

Thursday, 6/21/12, I contacted the Fidelity Alarm Co to have my android phone setup to view my security cameras while away from home.  I spoke with Garrett.  I told him what I wanted and that their company did not install my cameras.  He said they could still do the job.  He asked me if I knew what brand my DVR was and I did not know.  We concluded that it was a generic brand.  There was still no mention that they could not do the job as I requested.  I told Garrett I had an android phone and that the manual that came with the DVR mentioned the program (I gave him the name of the program) for viewing the security cameras while away from home.  He said he didnt know if that was the program to use since his company was not familiar with my DVR system.  I asked him how long it would take and he said 1 to 2 hours, not sure.

Friday, 6/22/12, a technician from the company came to my home.  He begins by telling me he is there to install a DVR for me.  That was not right I already have a DVR installed I told him.  I told him I wanted my android phone setup to view my security cameras while away from home.
He then asked where the restroom was and went in there for a few minutes.  I gave him my telephone and the DVR manual.  He begins by trying to find out the brand of the DVR and concludes it is a generic brand.  He struggles doing every task and doesn't appear to be very knowledgeable.  He tells me he is new at this company.   It takes over two hours.  In the end, he cannot setup my telephone as I requested and he says I can view the security cameras while away from home on my laptop.  That is not what I asked for.  I  paid them $267.50 anyway as I had to go to work and did not have to argue.

Monday, 6/25/12, I called Fidelity Alarm Co and spoke with the manager, Ray.  I told him I have not been provided with the service I requested and I would like a complete refund.  He said he cannot give me refund and he can send a technician back out to setup my laptop up to view my security cameras while I am away from home.  I told him that is not what I wanted.  If they would have told me in the beginning they could not provide the service I was requesting, I would not have proceeded to do business with them.   They never gave any indication that they could not perform the job as I requested.
