Fingerhut Axsys National Bank ripoff rip-off fraud business St. Cloud Minnesota
January 2000 I received a call from a fingerhut 'axsys national bank' collector. On an account that was developed in my name with my SS number. The goods were only partly received where the balance of nearly 900.00 worth ended up I have no idea.
They bagdered me to getting them a 52.00 monthly payment arrangement with no more interest to be charged. This started Feb 2000 it is now July of 2003 and they are still saying I owe them a large sum of money.
The original bill was only 973. and some change. To date 29 months later at 52.00 per month this company has now received $1508.00 from me approximately $530.00 more than they should have received.
I receive no statements showing my balances or no replies to my inquires. How do I settle this? Do I just stop payment on the 52.00 per month and hope they come after me...? and in the process put up with a rotten credit report as they are showing me diliquent? They are Frauds and Cheats and should be closed down perminantly.
