First Approval Benefits ripoff consumer rip-off fraud Fort Lee New Jersey
I too fell victim to First Approval Benefits - they called me and offered me the MasterCard with a unsecured $2,000.00 limit for a one time fee of $269.00 - knowing better but having horrible credit I went against my common sense and went for it.
I was told the card would come to me via certified mail no less than 15 working days after they debited my checking account. It is well past that and I am still waiting - when I called them yesterday and told them I had found them listed on this web site as a "rip-off" compay they assured me, "I couldn't believe everything I read on the Internet" and I should give it a few more days. I believe they wanted me to go past the 30 days to try and have my bank give me a credit refund on the direct debit. I am in the process of asking my bank to help me get the $269.00 back but am not feeling very hopeful.
These people are thieves and if you get a call from them hang up immediately!

I contacted my credit union last week with the details of First Approval Benefits and their rip off of me for $269.00 - They agreed to refund my funds that day - I have since signed a fraud report on this company as well. Today I received their "packet" via Priority Mail, not certified as they promised, exactly 21 working days later. As other folks on this site have stated, no MasterCard was in the mailing - just a bunch of crap about how to re-build your credit and an application for a deposit MasterCard- I contacted First Approval Benefits three different times via telephone and was assured (lied to) point blank that the unsecured MasterCard would be in the packet- it was not... I promptly wrote them a letter stating what I have done to protect myself and hopefully others from this company and sent them their credit repair package back to them. First Approval Benefits - a major ripoff with no unsecured MasterCard or anything else you can use in the mailing.
