I am having a very bad experience with this company.Every month they come up with a new "additional fee".
First there are surveys that if you do not do them they charge you $19.95 until you do. They there is a $99.95 yearly fee that they forgot to mention when first setting up the account. Then we have address verification fee plus other that I don't even know about.
They use authorize.net which is $9.95 per month, but I also get charge from authorize.net themselves around $15-20 a month on top of what flagship charges me.Just Horrible. I can not deal with them any longer.

When you sign up with Flagship you are GIVEN the option to print your contract. It is a pop-up that says to print it. It is up to YOU to print it or save the actual contract. If you sign everything and do NOT save a copy that is all on you. Not the company that you are doing business with.
Also other companies charge the same $99 fee that Flagship does. It's a fee that Authorize.net charges you directly if you sign up with them and all other resellers. Chase Paymentech also charges this fee; expect its charged up front. My contract does NOT state anything on a $99 yearly fee. But as far as PCI Compliance goes; yes Visa and MasterCard do have those fees. For not being PCI Compliant they can actually take your merchant account from you and black-list you FOREVER! It's their right. You want to do business with Visa and MasterCard you play by their rules and the company's you signed up with.
Your 5-7 is before they're put in your account. That is NOT Flagships fault. That is the processor holding the funds first. You are also told and in writing by ALL banks it takes up to 72hrs before the funds are put into your account. The only way that is NOT true is if your bank account is in the same bank that processes your credit cards (like having your account at Chase and also your merchant account- by doing that you get the same day or next day).
Merchant accounts are also NOT paperless. They choose not to have you fax anything in. Bank of America is the same way. And works the same.
If you're not happy and unable to follow the rules- you should look at using PayPal.
