Who ever you are if Franny owes you money for a bill then he owes you. Franny didn't steal anything and neither did I If you really do have money coming to you I'm sure its from one of the 8 cars sitting here waiting for their owners to come pay us and claim them but since you chose to remain Unnamed I would find it hard to answer why you have not been paid if that's actually the case and you legitimately are owed anything I am repulsed to think that you actually could be one of FRANNY'S vendors and you're accusing franny of stealing because he owes you a few dollars you should be ashamed of yourself there has to be more to this so please name yourself so the truth may be told.

You all seem to ask how Larry steals parts. WEll I am one of the ones that he steals parts from. Or should I say stole from in the past. He orders parts or services because he had an account and credit at the time, and when it comes time to make a payment, he just never pays. So as for Larry's sarcasm about sticking a muffler under his arm and walking out, very funny Larry. Refusing to pay, is stealing.

This writer is obviously NOT a real customer of Frannys as how would any CUSTOMER know whether or not ANY company was struggling financially? Judging from the amount of customers who are in and out of this repair shop on any given day any REAL customer would assume that this company was doing just fine As 4 stealing parts from other stores 2 put on customers cars? How ridiculous is that? I can tell u MY EXPERIENCE at Frannys which was that I was given the option 2 bring in my own parts (Which were NOT stolen by the way) and pay 4 just the labor And it is my understanding that every customer at Frannys is given that option which tells THIS reader that the (unidentified) writer of this bogus article is the one who is the bold faced liar and fraud Leave this business alone! This neighborhood needs an honest dependable shop 2 bring our cars!!! [email protected]

First off, Stealing parts, from other stores, and putting them on customer's cars??? Only a moron would believe that were even possible. And there were NO police reports EVER filed against Frannys and even a moron could pick up the phone and determine, that this isn't true! Also, Larry Laken is NOT the owner of Franny's Floor Mat Motors. He is just the service manager. Our household consists of three older model vehicles, all of which have been serviced at Franny's, in the past year, and whoever wrote these articles about Franny's Floor Mat Motors obviously is NOT a customer and obviously has an ax to grind with Larry. It's also obvious, that the writers of these two articles on Frannys, are one and the same person, as both "Jennifer" & "Jay", who 'supposedly' are the authors, of these articles, both happen to spell Philly the same way .... "Phili"... Concidence? I think not. I am the person, who brought this article, to the attention of Franny's, as I misplaced their business card & was looking, for their phone number, to schedule an oil change and inspection of one of our vehicles. I put in their name on google & THIS is what popped up. Larry and his wife believe the writer of these two articles, to be an ex-employee, Frank Davis, and I am inclined to believe, that they are right, as he tried doing the same, on 'Craigs List', after threatening Larry, that he was going to 'ruin him'....It wasn't long before Craigs List figured out what he was all about, before blocking him, from posting any more deflamatory remarks, on their site, beings that HE is a BOLD FACED LIAR and a FRAUD. Frank, get over it...you were working in a flat rate shop and you are NOT a flat rate mechanic. You were taking too long to get the work done and worse yet, you were messing up your diagonostics. It's no wonder you are no longer working at Frannys or anywhere else but your own back yard. Larry had no choice but to let you go. This is Bev...remember my burgandy 99 Taurus? and my request, in your presence, that you not be allowed, to work on my car again, as it was you who originally misdiagnosed my problem with the wiring? Frannys Floor Mat Motors is truly the working man & woman's friend & should NOT be listed on Rip-Off.Com! Prior to going to Frannys the first time, we were told, at ANOTHER shop, that my husbands truck was in need of a re-built transmission and were quoted a price of $2800, to do the job. My husband then called Frannys, for a second opinion, on a quote & for exactly what the other shop SAID WE NEEDED, were given a quote, by Frannys, for $1800, as opposed to what the other shop was going to do for $2800. BUT, we were told, by the service manager, at Frannys, Larry, that upon hearing the symtoms, of what the 'truck was doing', that he was not entirely certain, that we would need a rebuilt transmission, as it was entirely possible, that it needed just a transmission 'service'. We then scheduled a time, to bring the truck in, so that his mechanic could look at and test drive our vehicle. Imagine our surprize and delight, when told by Larry, that a re-built transmission was NOT needed and that they corrected the transmission problem for LESS than $200! Now, more than a year later, the transmission on our truck is still working perfectly and we still have that extra $1600, which we were prepared to have, to shell out, in OUR account....Not Franny's. Now you tell me, if this sounds, like a rip off shop, to you? A rip off shop would have taken our entire $1800 (or $2800), and sent us on our way, regardless of the fact, that we didn't really NEED a rebuilt transmission. Needless to say, we've been going to Frannys ever since, for all our automotive services and have referred them, to all our friends and family, whom also have had the same great experiences, in dealing with Frannys Floor Mat Motors. Anyone reading THIS rebuttal, Please don't pay any mind, to what was previously written on this site, by Jennifer/Jay/Frank, as I advise you, to consider the source of these articles. Instead, contact me @ [email protected] & I will gladly supply you with references, from all the customers, that we've referred, to Franny's, in the past year. I will also supply you with phone numbers. Looking forward to hearing from one and all! Unfortunately, in today's world, all of us need to be, on the look out, for rip-offs, in every industry, hence the origin of this web-site, but it's just very sad, that reports of this nature, (based on lies and fabrication), are allowed to be posted without first checking out the source of these articles. Sincerely, Beverlee & Douglas Smith 2022 Ontario St. Phila. PA 19134 [email protected] Phone # to be furnished by request

Dear Sir/Madam: I am an attorney at law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and State of New Jersey. I represent Larry Laken, Donna Laken, and FRANNY'S Floor Mat Motors. I understand that at least 3 different complaints have been lodged with your website. My client has already responded appropriately to the complaints. However, we are in the process of obtaining the documents to prove the false information contained within the complaints. I have contacted Detective James Miles with the 24th precinct in Philadelphia to inquire as to the "police reports" which have allegedly been filed by "Jennifer" of Philli. Detective Miles advised that he needs the "DC" number associated with the report. As you will not release the name and/or email address of the complainant for me to contact directly, I am asking that you forward this request on to the complainant. In your search for the "truth" I am sure you will assist us in this endeavor. Thank you. Kourtney A. Borchers, Esquire

I believe this act of Internet terrorism to be the work of a former employee Frank Davis, a less than stellar mechanic. It's written in the same style that he used a few months back to Libel the company on Craig's List. Let me take a moment and debunk the accusations presented. first I am not the owner I am merely the service manager. Steeling parts from other stores, what is he saying we are walking into auto parts stores and shoplifting the parts we are selling to our customers? This is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard, could someone actually think that I walk into a local parts house and stick a muffler under our arm and walk out the front door without paying. Let me tell you every small business, especially in tough economic times as we are experiencing today, are having financial problems, FRANNY'S is no different, but despite the hard days ahead for all of us, we still have managed to stay true to our credo, which is the working man's friend. We have not raised our prices. We are still only charging $45.00 pre flat rate hour for our labor to Internet customers. Compare us to some of the other companies like Midas, Monro Muffler, AAMCO Transmissions to name just a few. We really are a bargain when stacked up against them. All I can say is that we always give you a fair shake when it comes to pricing and the quality of the work that we perform. The working man's friend is here for you six days a week with no fewer then five top notch mechanics on duty to assist you with all of your automotive needs. One more thing we don't have a Jay or Jennifer as a customer.
