May 24th 2010, I purchased a 2002 Volkswagon Jetta 1.8t (VIN#3VWSE69M32M024017) from Wolfpack Auto Sales now Freedom Auto Sales of 3020 Hillsborough St,Raleigh NC.
The vehicle was sold with an odometer reading of 91007 miles. On April 5th of 2011 I begin to notice noises coming from engine, at which point I discontinued any further operation of the vehicle.
Upon having my car towed on April 11t h of 2011, I noticed that the factory maintenance sticker from Flow Volkswagon of Greensboro, affixed to the front windshield stated
Date: 5/31/05
Mileage: 91969
Subsequent vin reports show that the vehicle was recorded as having 38728 miles as of 6/27/2006.
The contradiction is self-evident.
The odometer states 962 miles less than maintenance report five years prior.
Check out the vehicles on the 'inventory' section of the website. One could only wonder how someone could obtain so many late model cars -some common fleet cars like the crown vic- with ridiculously low (2000 cavalier with 65000 miles!)
