FrontierPoolsofTexas & BW Pool Installers We have never asked for anything free. We have never harassed Frontier Pools, Bobby or Fran Mccullah. We have never defamed Frontier Pools, Bobby or Fran Mccullah. We paid for the product up front in cash. We have never had any second thoughts about buying a pool, just the company, (Frontier Pools) and people, (Bobby and Fran Mccullah). We did put down your house but not because it's a bad house but because we thought you had a business location and showroom or something to do with pools according to your website. Are we poor? It costs 30.00 to file in small claims court and 65.00 to serve you. We spent more on the professional pool installers report. The only business assets you have is an old dodge single cab flatbed truck, an old sod cutter and some shovels, (one of them mine). As far as profanity Sherry said I will sue your a*s" but that pales in comparison to Tell Bryan to go fu*k himself" that Bobby Mccullah said to Sherry. Frontier Pools is a dealer for Hoffinger Industries which sells both Lomart pools and Doughboy pools. When we purchased our Lomart pool and installation from Frontier pools we thought we were buying from a big company and would not have any problems with getting our pool and them installing the pool, our first huge mistake! The second mistake was when we paid 700.00 in cash for Frontier Pools to order the pool, and then an additional 2193.25.00 in cash, that was the total amount and within seven days according to the contract they would install the pool. And then the excuses began and then they whipped out their favorite words, Harassment and Defamation of character. We contacted Hofinger Industries and finally Bobby brought over some of the parts for the pool. When we asked where the rest of the parts were Fran with Frontier Pools stated I guess you want to install the pool yourself and they would not turn over the rest of the parts until we sign another contract waving our installation and money being returned to us. We contacted Humble Police Department and they went over with us to Frontier pools, which is Bobby and Fran McCullahs house/business to discuss the matter. This is when we found out from the police that they considered this a civil matter and not theft and we would have to take Bobby and Fran to court and even if we get a judgment we would not get reimbursed for damages because they have nothing. So we contacted Hoffinger Industries, The BBB. Texas Attorney General and the Rip-off Report. Fran and Bobby decided to be nice after they spoke with there legal counsel to install the pool. I noticed some problems immediately and the more I looked the more problems were seen. I called a professional installer and he looked at everything then asked when it was installed and I told him less than three weeks. I told him to write a report and an estimate on what it would take to correct the problems. (1) The pool needs to be taken down the ground leveled correctly and he stated that what Bobby and Fran sold us was not a Dura-bottom and was too thin to do the job. (2)The liner was installed incorrect and will need to be replaced. He also noted among other things that the frame supports were never placed on the concrete blocks and the skimmer was too far from the main drain. (Should be 3 feet instead of 10 feet from the pump) The frame at the bottom in two places is folding under the pool and the side wall is bending with it. When you measure the outside diameter top of the pool it is out of round meaning that in places around the pool it is plus or minus six inches. When you measure the frame posts they are plus or minus six inches meaning some are in and some are out. When you check the water height it is three inches higher on one side. The pool bottom is not flat whatsoever with what appear to be sharp rocks and the bricks that should be under the frame posts. Of the sixteen frame posts eight are partially on the bricks, three are under the liner, three are inches away from the frame posts and the rest are less than one third on the posts. We are asking Frontier Pools (Bobby and Fran McCullah) to correct these problems. We are not asking for anything free just to do the job they were paid to do. Below you will find the two Email responses we received from Frontier Pools and one from Hoffinger. Regards, Bryan After viewing your pictures, you can rest assured that the pool will not fall down. The pool is positioned (and leveled) on the ground with thousands of gallons of water weight. The adjustments will be made to the pads to align with the posts. Our experienced installer will handle this matter and will take photographs of before and after as well. A Satisfactory completion form must be signed after adjustments are made. That form will be turned over to Hoffinger Industries. We offered a 30 day labor warranty. Please refer to your Customer Agreement and Warranty form, this may have already expired. Fran M. Attention: Sherry First of all, i would like to know the exact reason for your complaint. Is your pool falling down? In your message that you left on our voicemail June 16, 2009 at 2:41 pm, you stated that the liner was 'gone'. What exactly do you mean by that? You began to raise your voice and use profanity and made your threat (i have saved your message), but you have not given your exact problem. You have an opinion from another person. Do you have that in writing? Ok. Bobby was on the job, he personally had his hands on this installation. He is a professional, and he installed your pool. Your ground was leveled, the hard bottom was put down, the posts were on the concrete pads. The hard bottom is a term that can differ in this business. It's a polyresin sheeting that we lay down on the ground. Its not soft - its flexible plastic. I do not know what your other professional offers, but this is what we sell. And it works. It seems to me like you want to take legal action, as this is what you stated on our voicemail. Sherry, you have that right. You have called the police to our house, made threats before these, and so on. So, quite frankly, i am not surprised. Bobby installed your pool in spite of all this. What is it that you want? And please, enough of the calls already, i will keep that message for the record. And i will forward the message to Hoffinger as well. Please advise. Fran McCullah Sherry, As I am sure you already know Hoffinger Ind. did not install your pool. We are in no way associated with any installation of a pool on your property, therefore we are sorry that there is a problem between you and Frontier Pools but Hoffinger did not sell you the pool, install the pool and supplied a pool that was complete in every way to Frontier Pools. Sherry I have talked to Mr. McCullah and his wife, Fran, and have done everything in my power to make sure that your pool was installed. There seems to be some difference of opinion between you and Frontier but Hoffinger is in now way involved with that situation. We have done nothing wrong and will defend ourselves in court if need be. I would be very happy to provide you with a copy of the warranty and installation instructions that came with your pool so that you may be reminded that Hoffinger states very plainly in those pages that Hoffinger is in no way affiliated with any installation and that you must be completely satisfied with the installation before you approve the installation. As far as Hoffinger is concerned, your not happy with the installation and that is with the installation crew who did your pool, namely Frontier Pools and not Hoffinger Ind. Cordially, Danny Cargile
