Fry's Grocery Store I was accused of stealing by an employee from 2 months back when I was in there - humiliating and I don't steal Scottsdale Arizona
It was very stressful. I don't steal and the employee came up to me and said we need to talk to you about a theft that happened here 2 months ago. I never steal, don't have to and if I was that broke I'd go get a food box from a church for god's sake. I called the police and they told me they don't want me in there and wanted me to get "counseling".

If you "don't steal" then why would a store waste precious time and valuable resources investigating you for stealing? Obviously they have some kind of evidence that indicates that yes, you did indeed steal one or more items over a period of several months. In today's economy, no one is sitting around waiting to single out an innocent person about whom to create false allegations. At any rate, the store is private property and if they wish to ban you from future entry they have the right to do so.
