Your experience of Frank Parks (not Park) and his FICA camp is the same as ours.  He is a dishonest man who has his listless kids working for him (they don't work, they stare at their phones)  He accuses people who complain of being racist and has this gigantic response he must paste in because they all read the same.  I agree with you.  This is not a legitimite camp and families would be well served to trust their instinct when he tries to sell you on this mis-leading experience.

This complaintaint students were the first two people in our 20 year program history to attend for one day and not complete the training program.  All 46 other students that registered for the summer program in the exact same city and led by the same instructor successfully completed the entire training and events.  Participants completed the BFIT Curriculum, Business Lunches and Financial Field Trips to major corporations, college tours, banks, NYSE, NASDAQ, and more. Each student that completed the training program received Basic Financial Intelligence Training (BFIT) Certificate of Completion. That should tell any parent or student that this is a good quality training program.

Truth Be Told 09-04-17:

Please be advised that this customers refund was processed and delivered as promised in the amount of $850.00.  Since 1997 we have been hosting students from around the world for our summer camp programs and 100% of all approved and agreed upon refunds have been successfully processed as was in this case.  

Due to the fact that we strictly limit the number of students attending our programs our Terms of Service agreement clearly states that our company has 90 days from the registered camp date to provide any agreed or approved upon refund.  In this case we worked on behalf the customer to expedite her refund and we did.    

In this case the summer camp date for this customer was July 17, 2017.  Therefore the refund was not technically due until October 17, 2017.  Regardless our company worked on her behalf to expedite the refund process 45 days ahead of the normal processing due date.  

We believe that the fact that 100% of all agreed upon and eligible refunds has been successfully processed per our Terms of Service Agreement speaks for itself. We deliver.

Since my last rebuttal regarding Future Investor Clubs of America and their decitful practices, I have made numerous yet polite and courteous efforts to call the company (of which there only seems to be 1 employee who is the President). I have left voice mails on his phone asking for updates and info on my PROMISED refund that was due August 14. The only response I have gotten alluded to the fact that if I keep asking for my money, he won't help me get it. I write this to forewarn prospective parents not to fall for this scam.

I registered my child for week of this "camp". After doing a deep online search for credibility, reliability, comments, etc, I did in fact find many negative on-line reports, including one on ROR. I called the president of the company a few times to mention the many on line reports (Florida BBB as well!); he eventually got defensive an upset and told me he would just refund my tuition in TOTAL. That was over 3 months ago! He has not refunded the tuition as promised(I have it stated in an email) and is not offering ANY explanation WHY it hasn't been. No other employee of the company ever answers phones or has a voicemail. ALL communication, business transactions go through only 1 person.

I believe this company is a SHAM and a SCAM.

 Yes it is true that Frank Park runs this camp with his family. He does a great job. My son learned quite a bit about finance and stocks. He loved New York. Considering that the camp is in one of the most expensive cities in the world, I found it reasonably priced. We are from canada, no camps similar in canada. Nice that kids can have fun and learn at the same time.

My son attended the FICA camp here in San Francisco this year after having him at the New York camp last year, and let me tell you my son loved every minute of the camp. I never imagined waking up in the morning and being asked about the stock market. We attend Warriors games regularly and all my son could do is ask about the companies that work with the team or in the arena ever since he attended the camp last year and has increased this year.

My son met many corporations and individuals that know the business and how everything works around this wonderful country of ours, my son still talks about his visit in New York to New York Life as he was very focused on what the presenters had to say. He also had fun also which is something I also wanted in a camp.

My son will attend again this year as we are already prepared for the next camp. And take it from me your child will learn so much from this camp. Even if it is for one week or even two they will learn more in that time than anyone in their age bracket my son is not even in his teens and knows more than I ever did before my 30's. Me and my wife are glad we sent our son to this camp.

We believe that this false, misleading posting was placed by the parents of a student and made to look like it was written by a student. The parents threatened to do this type of posting and other awful things to potentially cause harm to our company, because their request for a refund was denied due to the Future Investor Clubs of America's Terms of Service Agreement.

Regardless, this student and his sister attended the Future Investor Clubs of America summer camp program in New York for One Single Day. This complaint is untruthful in so many ways and centers solely around this family not being eligible for a refund, for the one male and female registered student.

Its like a student dropping out of school after attending just the first day and then blaming the teachers, school, district and everyone else, but himself. Then his parents back him up, but the facts, truth, pictures and video's taken during the camp tell a totally different story. Its is very sad, but we believe that the Truth Be Told.

This student attended the FICA camp for one day and during that day the entire Agenda and Itinerary was followed 100%, as it has been for 17 years. Their departure caused them to miss a large majority of the curriculum training, financial field trips, corporate meetings, guest speakers and other schedule events.

Therefore it is our opinion that this student, his parents and sister, lack the necessary experience to adequately evaluate a quality training program after attending just one day; since he failed to complete preparatory training, complete the camp, attend the corporate meetings, field trips and finish any assignments.

Since 1997, over 30,000 students have successfully completed the training. These are the only two students to have behaved in this manner in the history of our programs. Disgraceful!

Our records show that a large majority (95%) of our students that complete our camp programs go on to attend college to study business and finance.

This makes Future Investor Clubs of America one of the best youth business and finance college preparatory programs in the USA. Many of our students attend some of the top business schools in the world.

The FICA Staff that led this summer camp event consisted of 3 individuals. All with substantial experience. One college business student intern and chaperon age 22 (13 Years FICA Experience); Another FICA Camp Leader and Tech Support, College Graduate in Business and Finance (20 Years FICA Experience).

Then there was the FICA Instructor, who has a Masters Degree in Business and Finance, as well as being a Certified Financial Intelligence Trainer, Executive and all are experienced investors.

In addition, the camp instructor has 20 years of experience in being associated with Future Investor

Clubs of America programs. We are so very proud to have all three of these individuals associated with FICA.

All Future Investor Clubs of America members and subscribers express a strong interest in learning about about and finance. Most are very excited and enjoy attending the camp program. They never quit after one day.

So it pains us when a young student like this is manipulated by his older college age sister who was forced to attend the camp by their parents when she did not want to be there. It seems that the only way she obviously felt to get out attending the camp was to falsely complain about everything, training, lunch, field trips, transportation, its ridiculous.

The pictures we have of both of them at the camp during the one day shows smiles and interaction with all the other students. But if the older daughter college freshman did not want to be their with high school kids she had to blame someone to get out of it regardless if it was not the truth.

The truth is FICA Kids absolutely love this camp. If you are a student interested in business and finance, how can you not love this camp. That's why out 30,000 student participants you don't see erroneous complaints like this one, because its just false and hateful.

We agree that parents and students should decide for themselves and be extremely carefully when reading a false complaint from someone that came for one day and did not attend the entire camp. That type of person has no real experience of how the camp was actually run, they were not there how could they.

Its like if these students went out for a sports team and after the first practice, quit and then criticize the coaches, school and team. But the Team goes on to win the championship without them.

Now was it the team with the problem or them. In this case, definitely they were the problem and truthfully the FICA Camp delivers and develop Champions!

Again out of 48 students (Not family members) registered for BFIT training only this brother and sister (family members) quit after one day. The other 46 completed the camp program. We think the fact that these individuals quit the program after just one day; absolutely disqualifies them from being in any position to tell anyone, especially other parents when and what they should do concerning the FICA Camp Program or anything else. All parents receive a detailed FICA Camp Itinerary 15-30 days prior to the camp as did these parents. The itinerary of every summer camp program explains, curriculum schedule, classroom time, daily field trips and events. Parents are emailed and communicated with should there be any changes.

This is our 17th year of doing the exact same programs. All Future Investor Clubs of America Instructors are Certified Financial Intelligence Trainers, with Business and Finance College degrees. A large majority of our instructors are investors, financial services representatives, executives, business owners and or educators.

Most importantly many are former students that completed the program and are now successful in corporate America. What better testimonial than to have a quality program that the students loved so much that they wish to come back and teach other students.

The Future Investor Clubs of America's Agenda/Itinerary is always followed. Again this person came for one day and the agenda and itinerary was followed for that day. However all camps and programs reserve the right to make changes due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, accidents, cancellations, closures and acts of god. All camps and programs have a refund policy. These people just did not think our policies applied to them. This complaint is just wrong and only centered around a refund denial.
