Garett is usually good about these sorts of things. Contact the company in Texas. If you bought from middleman or shop sometimes they are not as trustworthy. Garret will likely repair them or replace them. I've owned many sets of detecting headphones. They get more abuse that any other equipment so mine fail often. The wires get yanked on going through brush almost everytime I am out. And they seemed to get dropped often too. Goodluck

I have dealt with Garrett Electronics for more than 25 years and have always found them to stand behind their products and take care of customers. My suggestion is to call Garrett Electronics directly and ask to speak to either Jack or Mary in Customer Service. Explain your situation and see what they can do to assist you. I think you will find them to be a company that stands behind their products.
