The stove.. "The stove has honestly not been so bad, but one of the back burners hasnt ever functioned. It has never warranted a call out to the repair company, because honestly, it slips my mind and considering that there are 3 other working burners, I can deal with it. "
Again, when this was first discovered what you should have done was demand that Jim replace it. With those two, it sounds like Jim might have sold you what others returned.
The Dishwasher... " It also has a voracious appetite for inanimate objects. The repair company had to come out after it started making a horrible screeching noise that reverberated through the house. It was found that it had eaten a very large piece of glass into its inner workings."
If the dishwasher didn't break the glass, it was trying to do its job disposing of what you put into it.
My only complaint about my GE appliances is the dishwasher. It is only good for storing stuff. I have to wash the dishes before they go in then it wastes energy for an hour, then I have to unload it and polish water spots. It is faster and less expensive to hand wash, put the dishes in the old fashioned dish drainer and let them air dry or towel dry them and put them away.
For your Microwave, if it is the range hood kind. When the Surface Lights burn out.. The bulbs are cheap, under $3.00 each but make sure they say they are for a microwave before you blaim GE for tripping your breaker.

On our new build in 2003, our GE washer and dryer (Harvest Gold) from the 70's worked great so we bought GE for our kitchen.
First, clothes washer... "Shortly after moving in, maybe a few months, the washing machine failed. A trip out from the repair company showed that the filter had sucked in approximately $3.73 in change, 3 full sized lighters, a house key, and multiple other un-identifiable pieces."
It takes seconds to check pockets. You are not only lucky that the filter caught all of that before it went into your plumbing, but that the lighters didn't make it to the dryer. The dryer, if you burned out two so fast, my guess is you are overloading and should buy a commercial grade.
Seriously, no appliance will work for you until you learn how to do laundry.
The Fridge... "When the appliances were all installed, the ice maker in the fridge was non-functional. It took approximately 6 days to get the part repaired by Jims service company, Easys Repair Service, Inc (located at the same address as the retail store). "
What you should have done at that point is demand that Jim replace the refrigerator instead of repair it.
