This compnay charged me $3800.00 for a website.  Every time I had a simple service request we would over charge me.  My site went down due to a security patch and he wanted to charge me $2000.00 for the patch.  He is extremely difficult to deal with and extremely rude.  he acts so nice when you are ready to do the work.  Once he is paid he will ignore you or over charge you for very simple tasks.  I do not recommend This company to anyone

This customer contacted us and advised that his website which was purchased in 2009 does not satisify the new 2011 PCI Security Standards, we explained this customer on various occasions that 1) he no longer host his website with Geografixx.com therefore his hosting company is responsible for any changes to his website not Geografixx.com. He has not been a customer for 2 years now. 2) Technology changes and we are only responsible for the present meaning the time the website was built and it was built according to all security standards in 2009. 3) We explained to the customer that we would have to rebuilt a website from scratch to meet the new standards which we normally charge $3699 but to assist him we would offer him a website for $2000.00 4) We received threats and extortion emails from this customer insisting that we do it for free or he would sue us, file a report on ripoffreport and tarnish our reputation 5) To avoid tarnishing our reputation and to keep our customer happy we advised that we would absorb all cost and update his site he would only have to pay for the hosting of his website which is $365, I spoke to him and send him an email. 6) This customer website is operationally and any problems he has must be taken up with his current hosting company.







Customers read negative reports on ripoffreport and immediately threaten the company to continue to write negative report if we do not provide them with free work! This customer wrote the report on September 13th and send us threats on September 14th, never had an inclination to work with us just wanted free work below are all emails exchanged:

Hi I want you yo understand that we are willing to help you but not because of your

warnings,  as a design company we can not make everyone happy thus the

reason for the complaints. We are working with the BBB as you can see our

rating is a B for our effort in all customer disputes. We do strive for

customer satisfaction.



We are willing to help you with your website but do ask that you please host the account with geografixx to make the changes easier and as a company rule. The cost is $365 for the year and we will ensure your website is in PCI complies.



Please let me know if this an acceptable remedy to your problem.

I am not threatening you in anyway.  I am telling you what my actions are.  This is not a threat.  This is information.  Second, I stopped hosting with your company because it was so difficult to deal with you

and I was being overcharged and I complained about that and he told me to go and do whatever I want.  Finally it is impossible to assume or accept that the new PCI rules will require a complete overhaul of thesite.  This means everyone else in the world will have to go ahead and do

a new website.  I also asked around.  I now know exactly how he did my site and how he charged me for it.  The hosting company told me exactly. This is not a threat but an option or a course to take

Fix this issue accordingly and in a timely manner, or issue me a full refund so I can go and get a real website done,  The choice is yours, these are in no way to be construed as threats.  I wish you the best.  If I do not hear back from you with a decision either way today then I will assume that you are not willing to address this matter in a timely and fair manner

Thank you for your response,  I have further evaluated your website and spoke to him about your issue.  To further explain the problem:



First you no longer host your website with Geografixx as such any updates required by

your website is not our responsibility as Im sure as explained to you already.



Second we try to assist and keep all of our customers happy, if a customer ask for a

small update and they continue to host with us we provide these changes free of

charge with no problem but it depends on the change requested. Please

understand your website was built in 2009 prior to the new PCI security

standards and there is as to date no patch that we can just upload to your

website, we would have to rebuild a new website for you with the new PCI

standards, geografixx.com also had to go through a major overhaul because of this issue. Technology changes daily and we can only be responsible for the present time. The cost of building such a

website is $3699 as you can see on our website but Geo has offered you a discounted price of $2000 which is the price we offer our hosting customers for this update.

Third Geografixx.com doesnt accept any threats or blackmails and will act accordingly when threatened or blackmailed. We would like to work with you and assist you feel free to contact me if you have

any further questions.

My website has been down for several days now and it is affecting my business

especially since I was about to launch an SEO program.  I paid you close

to $4000.00 and now in a spiteful manner you tell me that I need to pay you

$2000.00 for a security patch.  I have filed a complaint with the BBB and

unless you resolve this issue immediately I am going to Pam Bondi the Attorney

General of Florida and if that does not work I am going to file a lawsuit in

small claims court against your company in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.  In

addition, I will find every website on the web that has reviews about your

company and post raving reviews.  I will also contact everyone who has

filed a com[plaint against you and take collective action i suggest that you do not get bogged down with these issues and resolve my matter right away. All you had to do was update the patch for what it really costs and not ask for a rip-off amount of $2000.00.
