Global Relogistics Global ReLogistics This Company will "legally" steal your money Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
Consumer BEWARE of this company. They WILL rip you off and justify it by the fine print in your contract. My brother hired them to ship a car from California to me in Florida. Was give a date of pickup early February, a few days after hire. This car was at a mechanic shop and could not sit there without storage fees and they were told this up front. By mid-February they were STILL unable to attain a driver. The mechanic put a lien on the vehicle because it was still there and the bank came and picked the car up because they were 1st lienholder. This has now cost an additional $1400 in fees. You cannot get in touch with a person once you hire the company as customer service is only through emails and they take FOREVER to contact you back IF they contact you at all. I know this personally because I have been handling ALL these issues with this company from the beginning. We were FINALLY able to get the pickup cancelled and was emailed a form after MANY attempts through email to finalize the cancellation so that they could process the refund of $1095. Miraculously the very next morning they emailed and were able to find a driver and requested confirmation that we still wanted the pickup so that they could "assign the driver". We emailed them back and said "no the pickup had been cancelled". Then all of a sudden Global Relogistics now states that we are not entitled to a refund of $1095 because now it's gone past 30 days (the time frame in which you must cancel) EVEN THOUGH the first attempt to cancel the pickup was mid-February 2 weeks after the initial hire. They deliberately drag their feet and because you have to go through email instead of by phone, they just don't answer you back in time. They stated they would issue a "credit" of $1095 that could be used for a future pickup within a year. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? In reading the fine print of the contract it seems that Global Relogistics isn't even responsible should something happen to your vehicle during shipment. As stated in the contract, "in no way will GRI accept responsibility for any negligence of the assigned carrier." So PLEASE PLEASE read ALL the fine print (and there is ALOT of fine print) because they will keep your money and not provide a service and somewhere in your contract is justification for it no matter what.
