I am shocked at what I have read here. I have had nothing but great experiences with this company. I have delt with morgage and the auto loan dept without any problems. I wish all of you the best of luck.

After reading your story, I filled out my own Rip-Off report. We have a lot in common when it comes to the experiences with GMAC and I would like to talk to you further about pooling together. I am horrified by the way this company does business and would like to see them closed for good so they can no longer steal from hard working americans.I cannot get over the fact that I keep going in circles and cannot find anyone willing to stand up to this company and hold them accountable for the lives they have ruined. These last 7 years dealing with them has taken it's toll on me and has contributed to tremendous stress, suicidal attempts, bankruptcy, depression, loss of a 17 year career, not to mention the distruction it has caused with my marriage of 22 years. I would appreciate any help you can give.

Liz, Daniel mentioned my name to get in touch with. I'm also dealing with GMAC with my home and also lost my children's college tuition (investment property) to GMAC's sister companies for what I feel is the same reason, but at the time I was to stupid to realize what this company does. I lost my foreclosure case due to a lawyer that never turned one peice of evidence on my part (I found this out 3 days prior to the sale of our home.) So I filed chapter 13 to get more time and find the proper lawyer. Bottom line you are in for the long haul if what you say is what you really feel, and we are here to help you! I live on "Platoridge" farm's, which was only an unused peice of ground when I bought it, now this unused land has a value of $260,000 that I'm fighting for against GMAC. With the information I sent; you may want to do a "Google" search, you can never know who you may find! Lets stick together! GMAC put their pants on one leg at a time like we do; why should they be better than us?

iam very courious as to when your problems started was it in 2003 you say there are letters dated march of 2003 i too have been dealing with gmac since 2003 it seems that in 2003 gmac switched servicing companies and in doing so a lot of account were lost or screwed up (its all in my story gmac deaf dumb and blind) it also has come to light that gmac may have had a systum wide failure in their accounting computer system as far as a lawsuit you need to do it on your own not a class action i have filed one and i know of another attorney in nc that has a classaction going already in fact my attorny has agreed to let him help with my case please contact me read my story or go through virgina or joe tell them you need to reach me
