This is the very same experience that I had (except that Verizon has not refunded the charges.) I was promised numerous times by the GoLiveMobile customer support that a refund check was on they way. It has been over a year. I suspected from the beginning that they were just blowing me off and waiting for me to give up or forget.

Hi I am an employee at Golivemobile. Firstly let me say we are not some "scam" company as is portrayed by your post. Our clients include organizations such as the FBI, MapQuest, United Nations, Willow Creek Church, and many many others. We are a real company with real people working here, so I take offense to that.
I question your claim that you have tried tirelessly to contact our company and were unable to receive a refund. Can you please post the phone number or email address which you were contacting ?
We operate a highly professional customer care center and we issue refunds liberally within a 60 - 90 day window. Our refund rate is industry average to below industry average.
