This is Earnest Musician again. Just updating the original post. After one month of persistent (but not excessive) email to Grizzly Entertainment and the solid intervention of the NE California Better Business Bureau, a refund was executed on Sep. 27th. I called Visa immediately when something was amiss. Visa actually involuntarily collected the refund through the merchant's bank. Grizzly Entertainment seems to be one of those "drop ship" retailers. Basically, a small business operation with small inventory. When a big-ticket order comes in, they contact another company to purchase then ship the item. There is risk with no shipping confirmation, in fact their stated company policy (may have changed by now on the website) states that they are not liable for lost shipments. In the age of super efficient, super communicative music retailers (Musician's Friend, Sam Ash, Zzounds...), it is better to go with the big name companies. Be persistent, the BBB is great, contact the Internet Crime Complaint Center and Federal Trade Commission, you will get your refund and walk away wiser. Small Claims Court in Sacramento is another resource. BTW after doing more research, the company recently added a new address: 8863 Greenback Lane #191, Orangevale, CA 95662.

The instrument was never shipped. After several no responses from the company, they promised a refund. At this point each reminder for the refund is responded with "We'll look into it." No customer's trust deserves to be reciprocated in this manner.
