Harbor Freight Chicago Pneumatic, Chicago Electric not fraud or deceiving but absolutely not consumer-oriented Camarillo, California
The return policy is basically straightforward and not being disputed. However, the store is the only one for which I know is so anti-customer so as to provide absolutely no protection for a customer wishing to return merchandise without a receipt. Many stores will have varying levels of customer support, e.g., limiting refund to recent sales prices or to an in-store credit. Harbor Freight gives absolutely zero effort to the customer. To make matters worse, the products I tried to return were shrink-wrapped (never opened) and were from Chicago Electric in which Harbor Freight is the sole distributor (to identify the fact that the purchase was made at Harbor Freight). I would have enjoyed an in-store credit or even one limited to needing to spent at that moment as an exchange; however, they offered absolutely no compromise or willingness to do anything.
Again, the complaint is that this vendor is anti-customer/consumer and cares little about the shopping experience.
