Complaint Review: Hassan Shaygannik - davie Florida

this person is renting the bottom floor of a three story home. this home is a major health hazard. before i moved in hassan stated the all the problems with the rental would be rectified. not a this was done in the 11 months i have been there. what has been done was done by me.

he stated that he could not do the repairs due to back problems, but he is healthy enough to do lawn work and clear huge patches of overgrown bushes. when i confront him he tells me i need to fix the issues myself.

the problems with this rental are huge. when it rain for more than 2 minutes, a waterfall of water comes pouring into the master bedroom from the french door frame. now the frame is rotting so bad that you can push your finger all the way through it. the master bedroom bathroom leaks water from the shower above it and the ceiling is falling down. again, he told me i had to fix it myself if i wanted to use the bathroom. now this is supposed to be a 3/2 when in fact it is a 3/1.

he stated when i signed the lease that he would take care of the lawn maintenance and enclose the gazebo so i could use it as a garage. he never once mowed the lawn and made me do it with my own lawn mower. i also had to enclose the gazebo my self at a cost of $3000. once it was done they tried to kick me out.

when it rains, water flows through the walls and all the electrical outlets spark and most of them do not have covers. this can be an electrocution hazard with adults and mostly children. only three or four windows open, none of the door knobs work and will trap you in the rooms. all the french doors and front doors are warped and are about to fall off the building.

when i signed the lease, i said the utilities would be split between the two. he has four to five adults living upstairs, two floors, two a/c units, and the hot water heater as opposed to the two adults, one a/c unit, one floor. he harassed me to pay over 2/3 of the utilities. this was extremely unfair but the keep the arguing to a minimum i paid it.

this mans wife is a big problem to who ever rents this place. she fies around on a witches broom screaming like a taradactle threatening to kick us out for complaining about the living conditions and the lies hassan told me just to get me in so he can profit from me rent money and good heart.

he, on a daily basis ask to borrow my tools, fix his cars,mow the lawn, help out fixing his junk yard belongings, give him rides. i was constantly helping him with not even a thank you or discount on the rent. seems like they think they are doing the tenants a favor just by letting them rent the horrible lower floor of his house. he thinks the tenant is the one that should do all the repairs with no rent relief and all for free.

this FAU economics professor of Iranian/Shiite economics thinks he and his wife and family are above the law and are determined to bastardize the American way of living. i feel sorry for the next renter and have called Davie code enforcement to inspect the house.

in conclusion, there is much more problems involved with this property, like the entire house was built with second hand building supplies. i mean everything. none of the windows match, cabinets do not match, all the tile does not match, there is no grout in any of the tiles so when you take a shower it all runs under the foundation. the house is an insect sanctuary.

he has not fumigated once since i have been there and he said he would. the entire property is full of old junker cars, u-used building supplies and just a hording nightmare. this man will not throw away a bent nail removed from a piece of wood so he can repair something in his home with it. if not then it goes i one of the numerous piles of garbage on the property.

i just hope that the town of Davie will take care of all these issues the house has or wont allow him the rent a house zoned as a single family home, not a muti-family home.
