I am lucky (smart) that I decided to check out rip off report first. As stated in the other reports on here, this company is a rip off. All though 1 poster said that Craig's list took them off, I just saw there add on there today 10/14/07. But I figured that if something sounds to good to be true, then it usually is. This is there add that caught my attention.

Stay away from this company!

"$750 / 3br - Lovely house, 3bed/2bat, approx. 1770 sq.

Lovely house with large backyard with patio and lots of room for entertaining, 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 full wonderful bathrooms, big family room adjacent to kitchen with huge island and nook area, formal living and dining room, laundry room, washer and dryer hookup, 2 car garage. It is a shame that the previous owners could not afford the mortgage payments any longer and are about to lose this property. You simply need to take over the monthly payments with no money down or credit and this beautiful house will eventually become yours. The remaining balance is only $77.000. I have more homes like this in Los Angeles area. For more details please call Miriam Richardson @ 800-407-2590

this company was brought to my attention when my mother-in-law mentioned seeing an ad on craigslist. no deposit or money down. no credit check. just take over the mortgage payments. i checked out the ad. i immediately thought "i'd be surprised if this house is still available". then i started selecting the text from the ad to email to my wife and noticed there was extra white text and an 800# to call. that sent off a few flashing lights. i called the # listed, got a recording stating it was afterhours and to visit homeaccessusa.com. they also mentioned being regulated by state and local governments (which state? disarray? confusion?? heh). i checked the site. all i was able to do was sign up for their "package" that runs for $198. i didn't sign up of course as i know that most places that ask for money up front. chances are it's a scam. one last thing... i noticed one person pasted an ad statng a HOUSE in STUDIO CITY, CA was going for $750/mo. i know that area VERY well. $750/mo will get you a dumpster behind a circle k, not a house, and houses START at $450K fo something small. up to $1-2M. there's NO way a person who purchased a house in almost ANY part of the san fernando valley within the past 2-3 yrs would have ONLY $72K left to pay on it. if that were the case, they would've sold it.
