Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Warning:

Below is a copy of an email I sent to Homeshow Daily after they comitted fraud.  They claim they only delayed the availability of the booth and it was later made available as per the terms of the contract.  Per the terms of this section of this contract that they reference it also states I have as my "sole remedy" to cancel the agreement if they delay it's availability.  I canceled the agreement per the terms of the agreement. If you are thinking of doing business with this company you should reconsider.  There is literally no traffic. I drive by on the freeway all the time and never see more than -3 cars there.  It is really a joke. They have closed down other locations in other cities including Boise ID wher they have their headquaters.  Try calling some of their phone numbers. It is pretty much impossible to reach anyone there during business hours.

Here is my email to HSD:

Dear Homeshow Daily

I am writing to tell you about my experience with your company in an effort to resolve a problem with the way you conduct business.

In January I was contacted by Daniel (one of your sales reps) who told me about your company. I agreed to stop by and take a look at what you do. We looked at the available booths and I agreed that we would set up a display in booth #70. I signed the paperwork. I came in with an employee in March to paint and begin the setup of our exhibit.

I was at that time informed that the booth Daniel had leased me was already leased to someone else and it was no longer available. A copy of my contract was produced with a different booth number (not both # 70). I did not like the space that we had been switched to. At this point Cary Beagley told me I was just trying to get out of my contract. I explained I wanted to set up my exhibit in the space I originally leased and did not come here with paint and supplies because I was trying to "get out of my contract"

At this point I was told by Cary, I could have a larger spot for the same price. The 2 spots that were shown me already had old exhibits in place and I was told by Cary it was my responsibility to deconstruct the old exhibit and build the new one including installing sheet rock and mudding, taping, painting etc. I explained that I did not want to go to this trouble because it was an added expense and work I was not planning on. Cary then told me I was acting "silly". This obviously offended me and I told Cary I was done working with your company and to cancel our agreement.

That night I looked at our contract and found that the booth number offered was in fact #70 and they tried to switch our location. I have the original copy of the contract signed in pen ink. You have a copy that you fraudulently modified.

Dan (the original sales person) called me the next day to try and salvage the sale. I told him my experience with Cary and said that I was not interested in doing business with Home Show Daily. His response was, "It sounds like this is a matter of you getting your feelings hurt" I told him it was a matter of trust.

I assumed this was taken care of. I then noticed a charge about a week later for $895.00 on my American Express card, which was the setup fee. I called Home Show Daily at every available phone number and only got voice mail. This was during business hours. I left a message at the number I was given for your corporate office in Boise and requested someone contact me or I would be forced to dispute this to American Express. The number I left a message at was 208-321-4111.

I did not receive a response from Home Show Daily so after waiting a week I disputed your charge with American express. The next month I had another charge for $300 on my American Express card. I have disputed this charge as well. I am sending this email as well as a copy of the original contract showing Booth #70 as the booth I leased to American Express.

I am requesting that you provide to American Express the fraudulent copy of the contract you have as proof of my claim. The right thing to do would be do drop this entire matter.
