Homespun Home Fashions Disappointed, Disgusted, and Dismayed St. Petersburg Virginia
On 19 December 2007 I called Homespun Home Fashions on 1-800-627-5161 to place an order for cushions and covers for a loveseat and chair. Patty Johnson returned my call a day or so later and the details of the order were discussed. She took my credit card information and told me the cushions would be delivered in 6 - 8 weeks. My credit card was charged $578 the following day and I joyfully waited.
In mid-February I called several times and left messages inquiring about my order. None of my calls were returned. In frustration, I placed an order for fabric samples. No one ever contacted me and no samples arrived. I kept calling and leaving messages looking for a delivery date, no one ever returned my calls.
I was becoming more and more concerned because of the lack of contact. In an effort to get more contact information I looked up addresses and local phone listings. I was able to obtain both the physical address and two additional phone numbers. On 26 February I called 804-478-5819 to find that the number had been disconnected. I then tried 804-478-4992 to find that it was out of service. At this point I googled the original 1-800 number and found many complaints about this company.
I am disappointed because I love my furniture and wanted new cushions. I am disgusted that this company has ripped off so many people and continues to do so! I am dismayed that they can continue to run a website and are able to take more orders. I would like my credit card credited the full amount of $578 and I would like to see the website shut down so they can do no more damage.
