On 1/07/2008 I ordered replacement couch and loveseat covers for my This Ends Up furniture. This whole process started in the fall with my family taking so long on deciding on the "right" pattern for their playroom. When I went to place my order I was told that some fabrics were discontinued (fabric company went out of business). I had to start the whole process over again with new swatches. Through it all I dealt with Patty, and she was very nice, and extremely helpful with measuring and fabric decisions etc (or so I thought) I left a message that I needed to place an order and Patty called me back. I then placed the order over the telephone. She said I would receive a 5% discount, since I had already ordered swatches, and I paid extra to have the scotch guard protection on the fabric because of the kids. I paid with a Credit Card.

Patty then called back on the January 20th to say that they had a problem with their computer system and my order had to be processed another way, but not with a credit card. She said I could pay by check and she said they would waive shipping, if I paid cash. So I sent them a check for $455.25 which they cashed on January 26th and I have yet to see my covers. Patty said that paying right away with check/cash would not interrupt the production schedule. She called me back immediately to say that the fabric was indeed in, and we were so many down that list, and to expect it around February 22nd-25th. I called this week to check very politely to see where I stood, and if it was delayed (how much a delay would it be). No response.

Good luck trying to get a hold of them! They do not respond to my messages on either their order line or their check order status line. I have left several messages in the last week or so.

I have read other similar reports in the same time frame as our order, and I fear I will never see my money again (that I had to work extra for).

I have filed with the Attorney General for the State of Virginia and the Better Business Bureau. They can't replace all the lost time that I have been waiting for something that is never coming!!! I have to start all over again!! I want my money back! Hopefully something can be done to get these "nice" people to return my money. I guess even the nice, grandmotherly types can be con-artists too.

Do NOT do business with these people! Isn't it Fraud, when a company knowingly takes you money when they don't have merchandise?

I repeatedly asked for my money back if they could not complete the cushion covers, since the fabric was indeed in stock. I receive the covers on 5/16/08, but they ARE CRAP!!!! I thought another complainer was being too critical, but they were right!!! Looked as though it was put together in a matter of minutes. Strings hanging, different colored zippers etc. I will be sending these back if they ever call me back!! I will return AFTER they return my money!!!
