In 2001 I financed a car through Household Auto Finance. In July of 2002, may payments were being taken off. I was first told that they were applied to the wrong account. The payment belonged to someone else. After many calls, I was told that the payment was NSF. I faxed copies of checks along with statements to show my payments did clear. I started to get collections calls everyday for the next 3 months stating that I was 30 days behind. I asked if they received my fax and yew they did, however, the finance dept still would not apply my payment.

It is now 2004, that payment still has not been posted. My account has been put into repo twice, they have offered me extensions and took them back. They have noted arrangements on my accounts that were never made. The representatives there do not care about why you are behind, they just want you to make a payment. They will not offer any resolution, such as credit to your account for all of the time and trouble you have experienced. I cannot believe that they allow a company as horrible as this on to stay in business. I was told by an ex-employee that this company is doing some illegal financing and they are purposely losing payments, yet they are being cashed and noone knows where the money is going too.

I have contacted the BBB and nothing every came of it. I have run out of options. I one more year. I pray that I can hold on that long.
