The people they hire in this franchise office and others have only one week training called fast track.
Overcharging people on tax returns,charging people doing rapid refund 35 to 40 percent more.
Dishonesty reigns high with this franchise operator!!
Cheats consumers and employees big time.
Also has offices in Clanton,Al.... Centerville Al...... Sylacauga Al.... just to name a few beware of this franchise owner if his name is Tim Johnson runrunrun away from this franchise and find somebody honest with experience to do your taxes.

I worked for H&R Block for alittle over 2 weeks and I realized they were not professional tax people. Not only does Talli franchize Sylacauge, Childersburg and Elba, they also have 2 offices in Alexandercity, Alabama. I filled out an application to work there as a receptionist. I was hired the same day. After working there 2 weeks thinking I was going to answer the phones and work the front counter, all of a sudden the office manager stated she didnt know it but the main office did not want a receptionist. The next thing I know she is sitting people down with me for me to do their taxes. Yes they did make me do some online training but I was told that the receptionist had to know this stuff also. I was not trained enought to even know what questions to ask or which forms they needed. The worse part is that I quit a job to work there and now I dont have a job. I cannot get unemployment and I am a single mother of 3. All of this to say, two weeks of online training does not qualify someone to do taxes. I was not the only person working in the Alexandercity office who was not properly trained. DONT LET THESE PEOPLE DO YOUR TAXES!

I must respond to the dishonest comments made by someone who signed the names Debbie and Ann to her report of dishonesty. (Unless her name is Debbie Ann, I believe there is dishonesty here.) You can decide where the dishonesty comes into play. We require extensive training to be a tax preparer. Those who cannot achieve our standards are removed from the tax preparation and sometimes placed in other minor roles in the office. The prices charged for tax returns are driven by supply and demand. The prices charged are comparable to any other tax preparation firm. Rapid Refund returns are charged at the same price as any other return. The Tax prep cost is exactly the same. There is no additional charge by the company for this type of return. Cheating customer and employees is totally untrue. This person must be a employee or former employee to have any knowledge of how employees are treated. All employers have acceptable rules of behavior for employees. When employees break these rules there are direct actions against employees. The person who wrote the report could not remeber his or her own name. Debbie and Ann were both used as the person's name. How honest is that? Also, a name of a town in Alabama was made up. Please find Peachville as a city name in Alabama. It is truely sad that a website which pretends to be a consumer advocate allows untrue and uninvestigated claims that are pure lies to be written and published by those using fake names and addresses.
