Huff & Associates Construction Company Contractors pays very slow if at all! Opelikia Alabama
****Subcontractors Beware
Don't contract to do any work for this contractor if you want to get paid on time or at all.
They simply will not and do not pay on time, you will eventually get your monthly draw because they know you will vacate the construction site if they don't, but when it comes time for you to get the retainage forget it, you will be forced to file a mechanics lien and a payment bond claim before you will finally get paid with no interest or any other form of compensation for their payment delays.
We did 4 construction jobs for Muff and had to file liens and bond claims on all 4 of them. They will ask you to do extra work out of contract and swear the change order is in the mail with you late draw check only to watch the calendar change with nothing in the mail. If you bill for the extra work they simply won't pay you and eventually if you want your retainage you will be forced to waive the extra work costs.
If they were the last contractor I had to work for I would close up my business and retire or get a job before I would do another job for them.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED DO NOT WORK FOR HUFF & ASSOCIATES CONSTRUCTION IF YOU WANT O GET PAID ON TIME!!!
